reported earlier No distance on HSI for TACAN in AA-mode

Since 2.7.9.17830, the HSI no longer shows the distance to a tanker when I use TACAN. It did before. Tested multiple missions.

Something very odd is happening here.

Release version everything with TACAN A/A works as intended. Tanker on a TCN freq like 50, just push TCN Button on UFC, change mode to A/A, input 50 Enter, Bearing - Range as usual. NO matter the type of tanker. All is working.

 

Latest Beta.

TCN to a KC-135 on A/A is not giving anything. On T/R is giving RANGE and BEARING. On REC, is giving BEARING, but NO RANGE.

Same here as you describe, + when you go back to T / R (not A / A TCN), ground TCN, situation is same = no distance to TCN (tested on Caucasus map)

Noticed that as well. I tried with two different tankers and didn't have range in both cases. Hopefully they will fix it before Easters.

Finding the same error in latest beta update, with no range to tanker in F-16 A/A TACAN, I hope they fix this soon because only room enough for the beta version this pc.

Tanker on 1X acts as:

• B+R on 1X T/R
• None on 1X A/A TR
• None on 1Y TR
• None on 1Y A/A TR

Tanker on 1Y acts as:

• None on 1X T/R
• B on 1X A/A TR
• B+R on 1Y T/R
• B on 1Y A/A TR

Whether "bearing" checkbox is ticked  does not change the above. Underlined are the intended modes to use with the tanker setting (should be B+R). Functionality with non-underlined modes unknown if expected.

I'm having the same problem... flew a mission on the Syria map and no range information to the tanker, however no problem with tacan to airbase only in Air to Air Transmit receive

if it helps I noticed that by not inserting the A / A nodality for the tanker the tacan works perfectly with bearing dme and icon on the hsi
