I recently noticed that my installation has a very annoying bug: During the entire flight, the sound of the engine starting is in a loop. This ruins the whole immersion! There is the sound of the engine starting and accelerating, increasing the RPMs until, after about 30 seconds, it restarts. I am using DCS Version: 2.9.11.4686 and A-4E-C Version 2.2. Could it be interference from some other installed module? Here is my log so that someone who understands can do a check. dcs.log

kraszus Posted March 6 Posted March 6 Anyone else having problems with wingmen crashing on takeoff? They're heavily loaded but still 3000lbs below MTOW. Wingman 2 can sometimes takeoff but crashes shortly after. 3 & 4 run out of runway every time.

You even observe 2 of 3 aircraft constantly running out of runway. Have you tried lowering their weight or finding a longer runway for them? Edited March 6 by razo+r

I just figured if I can takeoff with my limited skills, they should too

wheelow Posted March 30 Posted March 30 I updated this mod the other day, and have since purchased the Warthog HOTAS. I noticed on the "Throttle" mapping I have a red exclamation point icon and the throttle doesn't actually increase or decrease. Everything else on the throttle unit works though. Researched the red exclamation point but nothing else is using that mapping. I changed the throttle mapping to Throttle - Slew and now the throttle actually works to increase and decrease, however it's not a 1 for 1 movement and very inaccurate. Any ideas?

You have to be very close. I don't have the exact distance, but it was less than 10 miles, and I was at 18K.
