In DCS, let's have tornadoes.  The tornadoes can be as powerful as a "5" on the Fujita scale, which shows categories of tornadoes, their speeds, and potential to damage.  Additionally, let's have dust devils for use in the Syria Map and in the Persian Gulf map.

I also want lots of lightning and thunderstorm, which could be selected in the weather in a map or campaign.   Add a feature that allows for the lightning to strike aircraft on the ground or in the air.  There should be a message saying the pilot's plane was struck by lightning.

To support the firefighting community, please add the ability to have runaway wildfires, billowing smoke, and abundant flying embers.

If ED adds icing to the planes/jets, then let's have a deicing crew and their equipment.  The planes can be sprayed with deicing fluid before they take off.

When Mother Nature blows her top, it can occur in the form of a volcano.  Allow mission planners to add volcanoes along with the ability to control the amount of smoke, visibility, and volcanic ash.

Add microbursts in the mission editor.

Occasionally I wonder how the world looks like if I had some of that stuff that Mike seemingly runs on 🙂

So, I’ll bite: what purpose would those tornadoes serve? F5 have some 200 mph wind speed, barely above a jet‘s landing speed, and they are highly localized phenomena that occur in very low visibility weather (thunderstorm). So what are they for? Don’t get me wrong - I’m not against this idea, I truly don’t get it.

Haven't you seen the GR video where they land the MiG-21 vertically? 😁

The thought of creating a volcano and have its lava flows accidentally poach my spy dolphin fills me with angst. I’m out.

Mike just observes the world (internet) then tries to apply it DCS. Good for realism 👍    Ok, let's pull up lines 5300 to 5400... change the loop to...

That's my impression as well . But a filter would be helpful .

They certainly are the smaller things, got to give you that... Someone should compile a portfolio of all the things you've suggested thus far. It would be quite impressive.

If we're going to have Tornadoes then might as well have a map of  Oklahoma and Texas ok may be not. Anyhow dust storms would be awesome

ED releases photos of things such as cars, various tanks, and more.  I like to focus on the smaller things and hope that ED will incorporate them.

I would dearly love to hear about any real-world pilot you know, military or civilian, who would regard flying anywhere near an F5 tornado as one of the "smaller things" 😄
