New revalations:

Doing new/clean "3 Pskott86 v T-72" mission makes it work EVERY time. But only when also having AT Infantry Updated installed.

Then, removing AT Infantry Updated makes the mission crash every time, right at the beginning.

Will test further.

So I ran a clean mission, nothing else besides this mod, 3 pskott infantry vs 1 T-72. Crashed the very first time. Only error I could find in the log pertaining to it was this.

ERROR   ED_SOUND (9276): can't load wave: "effects\weapons\automatic\pskott86.wav"

Not sure if that would cause a CTD but just what I found on the initial testing.

is it normal that ships aren't launching interception missiles at RBS-15s?

Yep, the issue is that the RBS-15 Mk4 is a modern antiship missile with a low sea skimming capability. This makes it very hard for the old ships with their old radars to detect and engage them. If you try some of my modern Russian or Chinese ships, they will definitely engage the RBS-15.

I would like to add just a short comment regarding of modularity of Sweedish mod.

I can understand the flexibility of having every unit as its own mod  mainly to save disk space, but in the same time this is having some drawbacks:

- in multiplayer can generate issues if players have only specific set of units

- the disk space is bigger because each unit have its own files, even some of them can be shared among all of them.

- is cluttering the module list of DCS

This is not a critique nor will stop me using it ... by contrary... but I just felt that will be constructive to have some feedback 🙂

Yep, thanks for the feedback. There are definitely pros and cons with both approaches. 👍🏻

Hello @currenthill, this isn't the most significant detail in the grand scheme of things, but I'm wondering if you plan on creating low-poly destruction models for your assets, similar to default assets or High Digit SAM mod? Modern conflicts include an unimaginable amount of destruction, and seeing that in-game really adds to the realism, as grim of a thought as that may be.

Attached is an example of a Russian convoy that got ambushed by an NLAW team and Mr. HIMARS.

Thanks again for your outstanding contributions!

That is the same error I get when using the Infantry. I had AT Infantry installed, I removed it and re-ran some missions but no luck. I have also tried this with all of the different types of infantry in the mod and get the same error, which is fun. I should note that this is not the only error in the log but it crashes the game without fail when introduced.

Thanks! I've been busy with new releases and maintenance updates of existing assets. But I'm going to dedicate some time to do troubleshooting with the Swedish infantry. 👍🏻

I have had a idea for a mod for a while now but I dont have time to do it and although I have done some mods for myself I have never done a ground vehicle, and certainly not a motorcycle.
So if I may add one thing to the wish list for this great pack it would be this, the motorcycle that would take the Viggen to its parking spaces on road bases.

Husqvarna MC 258B as I understand it.

Ideally it would have animations that could be triggered in the mission editor with zones to make the biker point to the left or right to the parking space.

Since you seem to be the fastest modeler ever @currenthill im putting my hopes that you will make it happen!

You better run or that Viggen will run over you 🙂

I like the Viper but the JAS-39 Gripen fits better for Ukraine operating from highways

The Viper could carry more ordnance but the JAS-39 can carry the same type of ordnance
