IAR-93 Posted March 22, 2022 Posted March 22, 2022 Hello , can anyone tell me what are this black spots on mi8 skins ?I found it on every single skin , thank you .
Marsvinet Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 It is a shadow behind the armour plating that is painted onto the livery. As you have noted, most liveries have them.
IAR-93 Posted March 24, 2022 Author Posted March 24, 2022 ...and to remove them i quess i have to do it by modify the skin ?
Art-J Posted March 24, 2022 Posted March 24, 2022 Grajo already did it in his "goodies" pack... ... but I'm not sure if his improved skins are compatible with 2.7.xx. Download and try them out. 1 i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
GumidekCZ Posted March 14, 2023 Posted March 14, 2023 As name of report says if armour plates are not equiped, the MBIENT_OCCLUSION texture is set to wrong texture, which results in not very nice shadows an all liveries in DCS. {"mi_8_tex1", AMBIENT_OCCLUSION , "mi_8_tex_1_ao", false}; mi_8_tex_1_ao.dds 1
