Man I want that new beta patch so bad, I can taste it. Mirage F1 EE is sweet, but if some of that multicore goodness is in there... oh my 😊

I think they said the next update would be in January, but if the sale goes to the 29th, then that might put off the update until the week after when the F-15E goes up on pre-order.

 

That's be a busy day on the forums if it's the case. :happy:

Given the number of video's on new features, posts on things coming in it etc, my guess is they are aiming for next week.  Of course there are no guarantees and it could get pushed back if it's not ready.  I feel like I'm getting myself overhyped for it because it seems like there could be a lot of stuff in it 🤨.

Not sure about that. On the announcement is says:

This DCS 2023 Chinese New Year Sale has officially started and it will run until the 29th of January on both our e-shop and Steam.

 

In any case, there's really nothing left i want other than mayyyyybe the Viggen. But I do have it coming back on the free trial in a month so maybe I'll wait. There was also one campaign I was looking at.

I noticed this too, I browsed through all of the planes/ packages, and it would only let me buy two- the mi-24/ ah64/ bs3 and one of the warbird ones with p-47/ mossie.. the heli one was tempting because it discounted the bundle price further because I already have bs3, so the ah64/mi24 was $47 total<—-thats a deal! Point is, all of the rest of the bundles, since I own most content in them, or even one item in each one,  were only available to purchase as a gift. So either the rest of the bundles are messed up and not discounting for modules you already have, or the heli one is messed up and giving an extra discount that shouldn’t be there..I’m not mad about it, or expecting cheap handouts, but they do seem to be a little wonky, on steam anyway

We are waiting for steam currently, so at the moment we just have the bundles on steam.

You're right, it was just the bundles, but now the individual modules are on sale. It just kicked in.

I know how you feel. I like looking at the sale - window shopping and seeing 50% off - but there's kinda nothing left. Not getting the MB-339 until it's on sale and toying with buying the Viggen, but that's it.

You're right, need that F-15E. 

Of the major moduals I only have the Ka-50, F1, M2000 left, I'm refusing to get the Ka50 as it's butt ugly, and I refuse to fly something that ugly. I have no intrest in the M2000, the F1 is more intresting so might get that one on sale once that happens. the rest is those navigating things and some campaigns(I have all the campaigns for moduals I actually use)

I already think the Ka-50 is so beautiful. I would love the Ka-52, but that's not going to happen.

Guy walks into a high end gun shop and the salesman shows him all the gorgeous rifles at $5000 a pop, all with fancy scrolling and engraving. At the end of the rack is a very plain one at $10,000. The guy asks why that one one is so much. The salesman says: :That one, sir, is beautiful on the inside."

 

You should get the Ka-50. It's love at first fight. :smoke:
