@currenthill Any chance you can do a basic tank track animation tutorial?

I can't get these guys from the French Pack to load into a helicopter.  They don't show up and I haven't seen an embark command

We are here to enjoy the simulation as a comunity. 

The reason they are private, is they are typically conversions of Payware from other sims, and they do not have permission from the originally developer to distribute the the Mod. That -46 looks like the Capt Sim model to me. It has a beautiful exterior model, with a standard 767 Cockpit unfortunately.

Hello, I have encountered a problem where CH's China Assets cause a crash in mission editor when placing any of the ships in said pack.  The US pack works well, as I can make an entire CSG of 9-10 ships with all variants included, such as the AB III, constellation, tico cmp, etc.  The crashes are consistent with placing any Chinese warship, like the type 055.  Is there a fix, as I have been unable to find a solution to it.  It is somewhat puzzling, as I was able to make a mission in which it was two red team CSGs (one chinese with j-15s and type 002 carrier and one russian with SU-33 and Mig-29K on the core kuznetsov) vs one American CSG a few days ago and it worked fine (DCS said it crashed but I was able to launch the mission and run the simulation).  

if anyone needs to see my log, please let me know which file it is so I can send it.

There is a conflict somewhere somehow. Start by cleaning up the SavedGames/DCS/Mods folder. Make sure you have the latest version of CH mods downloaded, eventually make sure if there is any patch for that mod and install it... Test it. Once confirmed ok, try add other mods you might use and test it one by one!

Update:  Everything's working again!  I redownloaded the CH pack from the google link 4, as I believe it didn't fully download last time.  For example, sometimes I'll get a "network error" when downloading a large zip file, and retry the download, but the retry will be corrupted/incomplete and thus the assets won't work.  Thank you for the quick reply though

Hello, I recently reinstalled the entire CH catalog after taking a break from DCS for a while.

In the current version of DCS, I am seeing no RWR or HARM HAD symbology in the F-16 for CH assets even when they are locking and shooting at me.

Does anyone know what can cause this or a potential fix?

Is there anything to come next ?

Is there a chance to have an official integration by ED ?

Is model have LOD from better performances optimisation from far (that permit to put a lot of thoses units in a battleground without any issues)

CH has spoken about this before, it's unlikely that DCS will integrate his stuff, the DCS Centurion came out AFTER the CH one.    DCS is just slow and given some issues with vendors in the past that I won't elaborate on here for fear of the super sensitive DCS moderators, it's super-duper, wicked, (add your own descriptive phrase here), unlikely and doubtful.

I have 3 of the CH mods installed and running fine. However, when i installed CH Military Asset pack Russia, anytime I try to generate a mission in DCS it fails with 'invalid stoi argument'.  Nothing out of the ordinary I can see in the DCS log. All Assets packs are running latest version, as is DCS. Deleted the Russian Asset Pack, redownloaded from a different mirror, but getting the same error. Anyone else encountering same and found a fix?

Do you have ANY only CH mods, before he started packing them the way they are now?  That will kill it in a heartbeat

Nope, just the 3 I downloaded from the currenthill website the other day...all latest versions. Just downloaded the Ukraine Asset Pack to see if that works and it does with no problems. But enabling the Russian Asset packs gives me that error every time -

 invalid stoi argument

Enabling?  I don't enable anything, I just put the mods in the mods/tech folder in saved games, I don't know what you mean by enable.  I have all of them and do not have this issue.

I use a mod manager. Although I have also tried to copy and paste to mods/tech folder.

Checked that. The in-game mod manager shows it as active, along with the other CH mods

I don't think anyone does. 😂 . That's why I said "double check". Because while not common I have seen mods turn themselves off in that menu before.

But other than that I'm fresh out of ideas🤷‍♂️

This will be the thread where I post information about releases of new and current assets. And I'd be happy to get your feedback on them as we've done so far. I appreciate you mentioning any issues you have, or ideas or new assets to create. To avoid confusion I will be decommissioning all my other threads.

Nice mod. However, I miss the frigate and the Boxer series in the German mod. All of the vehicles are missing. They don't exist for me. It's a mystery to me.

Strangely, if I install Russian Assets, then generate a mission in DCS Retribution that uses Russian Assets, I can load the mission with no problems. It seems to be just the ingame mission generator that has a problem with the mod.
