Not sure if i'm remembering incorrectly or not but the GMLRS in the latest HIMARS version behaves as if its a Tomahawk missile. It's basically impossible to use it against targets in anything other than completely flat desert terrain because it cruises at 100 ft above ground level right from the start.

It’s amazing how fast you deliver updates and new products.

 

May I request that, for those of us just getting familiar with your mods, and since you have grouped them by country on your website, that you include a [China] or similar to the name of the unit (and perhaps even to the PDF charts) so we know where to find them? Also to this release notes. Seeing ZTQ-15LT 1.0.0 [China] Released!!! would be great.

Obviously as one gets more familiar with them this is not needed, but when you are new it can make a lot of difference.

Thank you for all the new ground assets, currenthill!

I was trying out the Archer artillery. The deployment of the gun in your mod takes about 1 second. In a video i saw on wikipedia it takes about 10-12 seconds from the moment the support legs are down. Is there a way for me to manually adjust the time in the vehicle lua-file?

Also the nose shape for the AMRAAM-ER still seems a bit to blunt in 1.1.0, imo. I thought it was more pointy like the AIM-120 nose.

I'm going to update all the Swedish assets in the near future. There are a lot of smaller stuff that needs updating. 

Regarding the AMRAAM-ER, I will run it by Admiral General Aladeen to ensure the correct level of pointiness. 👌🏻

Because we can't trust DCS AI in the art of ammo conservation. It has a tendency to blow its load in seconds. And burst fire CIWS are definitely a thing.

I've been wondering if you might plan on expanding into the towed artillery arena.  We have so little towed options in DCS.  Things like the M777 and so forth.

I would recommend something like the Challenger 3 series of main battle tanks (perhaps with APS simulated because you did such a great job on the ZTZ 99), and the General Dynamics Ajax series of infantry fighting vehicles.  Perhaps down the line, you may look into the Warrior IFV and Bulldog APC. In the future, might you consider the Type 23 Duke-class frigates, Tide-class supply ships and Wave-class supply ships? You don't have to do all of them, it's just some suggestions I'm throwing out there.  For now, keep up the good work and thank you for all that you do.

Personally I would love to see, the Stormer HVM with Marlet and Starstreak missiles aswell as the Sky Sabre (maybe also make IRIS-T SLM as they use a lot of similar assets.)

Here is some suggestions that would be great additions into DCS.

Some new Chinese Medium/Long Range SAM systems like the:

- HQ-22, their newest indigenous LR-SAM system, missile seems to be based on the S-300 5V55RUD missile. Range 170KM. Link: HQ-22

- HQ-16/B MR, a derivative of the Russian SA-11/17 BUK system, but with VLS TEL system, about 40KM range. Link: HQ-16

- HQ-12, this older system is still in used by the PLA, wheeled TEL with a pair of missile, the KS-1A missile has a range of about 50KM. Link: HQ-12

- HQ-9/15/18, would be nice to have, but its basically a S-300PMU system, which there are other mods available. Link: HQ-9

Indian/Isreali SAMs

- Akash, modernised SAM-6 KUB system, increases the range and altitude to 40KM/18KM. Also features new 3D PESA Radars Link: AKASH SAM

- BARAK-8, Israeli MR/LR SAM system, features 2 missiles, an ER and LR version, with the ER having an additional booster stage that increases it range to 150KM. Link: Barak-8 SAM

- Spyder, another Israeli system, similar function as the NATO NASAM-3 system with both short range and medium range version, feature Python-5 and DERBY-ER missiles. Link: Spyder

Any of the CVRT series, updated Land Rovers (WOLF 110/90, WMIK) and MAN trucks (already part of your Swedish pack). Pinzgauer, and Some British infantry?
