Does anybody have a issue where ANY of CH Assets Mod being installed and It's throws a Error Message during Mission Generator?

And Yet, The CH Asset Doesn't appear in the Mission Editor to place them. However they do appear on Encyclopedia?

EDIT: Tired Removing all other Mods plus Aircrafts with only IRAN, China Assets Pack. And Still same issues.

EDIT 2: They seems to be appear on list if shown by country, however, Mission Generator won't still able to generate due a error.

I have noticed this too with the Russian assets. Adding + in the ME puts some of the units on top of each other, unable to separate them.

I love the content, but also had these issues:
- can't find info om max ceiling of SAM units
- F-16C HTS pod does not detect Russian SAMs (RWR does after applying that mod)
- performance in CWG map combined with VR is downgraded significantly. I don't really understand how that works, but the ground textures are no longer fluent when performing rolls, both low-level flying and FL250, even when not facing the units.

Is there a fix for the above? I'd really like to use those new SAMs and Artillery

The mods from CH work fine on my side. Usually this issue is due to one of other mods installed that cause conflicting issues. I suggest taking out all other mods other then CH mods and try again. Then start adding the other mods again, one by one to see what mod conflicts.

B-21_AGM-158B.luaThis file fix AGM-158B problems. Thank you very much. It can easily defeat S300 now.

Thanks so much for this! This fix has solved the problem with the AGM-158B causing DCS to lock up when it is fired by the B-21. Hopefully CH can get the fix into 1.1.8. 🙂

It's not just the chinese pack for me, it's like everything lol. Even with removed mods and just having only CH mods.

Stand-alone but figured it out. I had the historical units in the mission editor enabled.

I hope the colaboration with CH will try to optimize the size of this Mod Packs, because all together are 70Gb+ in Disk Space.

Congratulations to CH for the collaboration with ED. The integration of some (for now) of its models in DCS raises some questions for me. In particular the following:
a) what will those who have already installed the mod packages containing the same units that ED has decided to integrate in DCS have to do? Will they have to uninstall the individual integrated models with no small problems?
b) I think I read that ballistic missiles will also be integrated, would this mean that ED will finally allow truly "ballistic" trajectories?

If ALL are PART OF THE CORE in the near future, Im not. Is the meaning of "adding to the DCS Core"

For now it seems only a limited part of vehicles, ships and planes-helicopters are part of the plan for DCS Core. But the size of the whole mod packs are huge.

I feel your pain and fully aware about drawbacks indeed. On the other hand we, as community, are asking for more realism, for more assets, for enhanced graphics, more maps, global map, etc... but all these come with some costs. In CH Assets Pack case is not a direct cost implied at all, and we all are owe him and ED a lot. But will be an indirect cost to keep our computers up to the current technology requirement. Even if these assets will be optimized, the overall consumed space will still be substantial... and in these days not having 70 GB but let's say 35 GB required is actually an insignificant gain for us.

Also as for other assets packs I'm quite sure CH ones will end up being on their own free module!

When such efforts are done just from passion, are we still in position to push back for such reasons?

I don't care, I want all the asset 😄 This is the best news DCS gave us for many year, thanks you so much Currenthill!

Im also very happy for that. Just having a question, my point is if this colaboration between ED and CH will benefit the size of the mod pack, reducing it. Thats my concern.

If not is just a matter of bigger storage but working on LODs-optimizing the space with ED colaboration is a valid point.

@currenthill I am extremely grateful for your work and even more for your determination to make them available for everyone within the core DCS environment.

I would have few queries though and unless you are under NDA I think would be helpful for some of us at least to know ahead what to expect:

  1. Will the core assets preserve the "CH" prefix? Will de DCSType name suffer some changes? - these are useful to know for missions creators which are relying on these attributes
  2. ED stated will bring many of your assets in the core engine. That is clear not all will be there, which is fair enough. Will you continue to maintain remaining assets as an community mod and remove only those which will be part of DCS Core. Will you be able to do this gradually, as you are going to progress with the "official" ones?
  3. Your infantry guys are fantastic. Are they in the scope ?
  4. There are several fantastic assets with special animations like towed guns, trailers etc. Can those be officialized and why not getting some native integration for more seamless animations for un-towing etc?

Thank you in advance CH !

LoD's, Flir, seasonal templates were confirmed ... tremendous works only for these ...

I agree that we can optimise the texture
