Salute @ADHS

I have just connected to our squads multi-player server using the multi-threading version and was able to take control of a tank without issue?

Visit the Dangerdogz at www.dangerdogz.com. We are a group based on having fun (no command structure, no expectations of attendance, no formal skills required, that is not to say we can not get serious for special events, of which we have many). We play DCS and IL2 GBS. We have two groups one based in North America / Canada and one UK / Europe. Come check us out.

@DD_Friar are you using the open beta? There are several threads here documenting that ESET sees the combined arms dll as a threat and deletes itt immediately on download

Which antivirus do you use? Specifically which version of eset and have you changed any of its scanning options or added any exclusions?

During the update/repair the CombinedArms.dll goes offline because ESET Internet Security finds it as threat.

Didn't had problems till now, till last update. In past there was similar problem with Gazelle, but was fixed fast

Thank you but i was hoping that @DD_Friarwould tell us why he isn’t getting that prob.

i agree, it is perplexing that combined arms is throwing up this error as it is not a new module.

it makes me worry that someone has slipped a trojan into the code

Sorry, I can not tell you why I am NOT getting a problem, perhaps because everything is OK with my install and environment?

I just use Windows Defender as my anti virus.

The Gazelle incident was recognized & blocked as Trojan and i had to

uninstall it so to avoid the trouble till was fixed. In this one, seems that

developers have/creating safety problems. It's out of question to put

any kind of such exemption to my firewall.

I don't trust windows firewall.

Never had a problem, I also run CCleaner from time to time, then again I don't go clicking on invites from foreign female nationals or notifications of missed deliveries from my postal service.

AVG antivirus flagged it and automatically moved it to quarantine as well.

So other than my antivirus find something weird. Thank you for the info.

I have uninstall CA and i will upload the quarantine fie to ESET for further analysis.

I propose to anyone that have problem to do the same as DCS haven't fix it till now.

Hello friends !!

Since i play in multi threading, my combined arms is disabled because of my anti virus.  ( I think )

Sorry for my bad  english, i'm french but i place below a picture of supposed virus.

I tryed to set an execption in anti virus but every time i re-open DCS, it disable again my combined arms.

When i start DCS, now i see (Check lower picture )  saying valid autorisation good for 2 days  and will be deactivated.

My anti virus is ESET Smart Security Premium MC

Could someone help me to solve that issue ??

Thanks for your patience...

threads merged.

Its best to submit the file to your provider for analysis. Probably a false positive

Personally not seeing a problem on my machine, but I am just using Microsoft built in security.

I had the same issue with AVG Anti Virus.

Added an exception. Restored the file from quarantine and now working again.

have you tried just simply running a repair using the updater to see if it makes a difference?

Yes i did repair at first. Once ESET reads the file is quarantine it.
Also i did a scan to DCS Open Beta folder, the same.
Something is wrong with this file. I've send it for analysis to ESET.

I got the same. In defalut and MT versions.

It's a file matter, no DCS executables.

It happens even on a fresh install

It is just a file matter,no need to reinstall the whole DCS.
