I'm excited about the PC9 coming to DCS.

I imagine you have access to plenty of contributors, however I have over 1000 hours on the RAAF PC9 (including FAC/MIS910) mostly as a QFI and MTP IRL if you need some external input.

Thanks for developing this module, should be fun.

So much anticipation for a full fidelity turboprop single. Although still looks in early stages of development, will definitely check this out when released. My virtual hangar can't wait🙂

Interesting to have the PC-9 (from which the T-6 derived) and the A-29 (which is very similar) both in development. Be fun to compare the two.

Is A-29 still in development? By Razbam? Haven't heard about it in ages...

I did not realize that this aircraft is quite close to home as the Irish Air Corps fly seven of the 9M variant. So I am interested in this now and will see if a nice livery can be done for it. Now that would be cool for us Irish DCS flyers.

Same for me, It passed from insta-buy to will not get it. 🤷‍♂️

So apparently this thing is the base for the T-6. Which means it's a day one buy from me. I love to use DCS as a flight simulator anyway. I'm at the point in life that a perfect overhead pattern gets me just as excited as a massive fur ball. Also I want to simulate crop dusting and this is kinda in the same class as the Texteon. Being an older version from the 80's is even more awesome.

You still would be able to do it on an version with weapons simply by not loading them, people wanting to simulate small air forces doing COIN would have fun as well simply carrying the weapons. Is about adding features not substracting anything.

Actually I specified the EB for a reason. I personally prefer to practice flying without all the gunsites and weapons delivery options in the way. That being said I certainly hope this paves the way for a T-6, and an AT-6. But I'll buy it to get a western turboprop trainer to practice just flying and acrobatics in. But there is also the historical fact that this thing didn't really carry weapons for most of its life. I watched the video above and that would be sweet. Im not sure of the year though. The AT-6 is vary advanced. Which would make it pretty awesome. But it wouldn't really fit in with anything else. One thing to think about if you don't buy a modual is if it doesn't get sales then you can guarantee it won't get further development. All that being said one thing I would love to see I'd a small light attack aircraft with at least flares, and an RWR. I'm not sure how COIN aircraft are supposed to survive in the era of manpads without flares. To conclude I'm not arguing against having armed light attack aircraft for COIN type operations. Really the opposite I'm the guy that has a wish list request for Rosie the Rocketer somewhere. It would be cool and you know it. And if Razbam ever gets an A-29 out its a day one buy from me. Hopefully we get better infantry for such operations soon. But this aircraft passed from a maybe to a will buy from me because it's an older version of the T-6, or more accurately the aircraft that the T-6 was developed from. Which means it scratches multiple itches for me.
