No unofficial mods. Normal game settings.

My trim dos not work properly.

I don't know why it happened. That's why I posted this info with a link. Maybe someone has a solution.

Indeed, a video doesn't help much. We need a track file to see what's going on.

This cannot fly. I removed AH64 and reinstalled. Something has changed, because it no longer flies with the engine off. But trimming it out is quite a challenge. Could it be my hotas controller fault? I have no problem with planes. I It is impossible to hang and stay in place at a low altitude. I watched how to set hotas but ah64 does what it wants anyway.

What track file? It was instant action. Marianas map.
I checked how the levers react under the influence of the movement of the hotas. Collective up and ah64 also up. That's all. Where was I supposed to fly? as only one direction was possible. I logged the event and exited the game.

This button on the debriefing screen lets you save a track file:

I know. I forgot about that.

Thank you for sharing your track file.

They show you are using the Easy/Game mode - which is unsupported, hence the broken flight model, etc.

You will need to uncheck

... to fly the Apache.

Ok. One problem can be solved. but the Trim AH64 is a disaster. It cannot be trimmed. And I would love to fly the AH64. Is there a panacea for this pain?

Do you have gameflight mode active in DCS settings menu? If so, disable it.

Central Position trimmer. Trim, hands off controls, hand back on.

A question from a series of idiotic - is it some settings or stick manipulation?

What trim mode do you use?

In the special settings of the AH-64D. It defaults to instant trimmer mode which if the physical stick it no returned to centre immediately it will essentially double your control input making you buck around like a horse. Central position trimmer mode makes it so it won't recognize any control input until the stick is returned to centre. They both have their pros and cons but I only use central mode. I recommend watching youtube videos on how the trim modes work because it's confusing at first.

Then make sure you re-center your stick after trimming. Make sure you have set apropriate death zones to ensure proper centering.

Thank you for your suggestions. I have seen many hotas setting instructions. Saturation, dead zones, etc. Whatever I would do with the settings, the helicopter behaves not as shown in the instructional videos. Reacts too violently even to the smallest stick movements - thrustmaster hotas.
I came to the only and correct conclusion that I have to buy a new joystick. Any suggestion which one? Up to 300 euros?

That sounds like it would help if you would add some curvatures to your stick settings. Of course a higher quality stick also helps.

I'm not going to stand in the way of you buying a quality stick, but there are lots of people flying the Apache with all kinds of joysticks.  How about a track file?

central stick trim mode means that when you select trim, you let go of the stick and it will return to center...when that happens, the sim will recognize input signals from the joystick again. Basically this is it in a nutshell:

Central Stick Trim: Trim button

DCS: ignores any input from the stick until stick returns to center. You can literally pull your stick in ANY direction as far as you want and nothing will budge until you bring your stick center.

You: release the stick or bring stick back to center

DCS: ok, your stick is centered, your stick works again.

It literally takes some getting used to because its just a workaround for people who dont have FFB sticks. Trim functions in helicopters is vastly different than in  aircraft. Best way to trim a helicopter is to hold down your trimmer button and adjust your stick while in flight to the desired flight profile, then release the trim button....and then center your stick.
