“even if we have a lack if info on it, what can we create with what’s available”

In fact, if you're at that stage of your development as a module for DCS, it's a hard no-go, try another time.

We all want more MiGs, devs too but you just refuse to understand how full fidelity DCS modules are made.

I don’t refuse to understand. I refuse to give up contrary to the public opinion. I’m all for full fidelity, it requires passionate enthusiasts with a proper mindset. According to you, we should abandon this idea. I suggest we do not - let’s give it some time and efforts and see how far it gets.

Do you not think we have? All we can do is establish there's a decent enough market for a particular airframe so that prospective 3rd part developers can take it into consideration. That's just opening the door, not even the first step. The first step would be finding not just adequate materials to work from, but also access to an example. I'm a big warbird guy IRL, but I'm completely unaware of any MiG-25s who are accessible to let us geeks crawl around all over as pictures are taken and scans made. I'd be very surprised if there aren't, I'm just not aware of any.

And then it just goes from there. I'm assuming we don't have any developers with the time or will that have ready access to such an example.

Reformers hate him! This one weird trick found by a bush pilot will make gunfighter obsessed old farts angry at your multi-role carrier deck line up!

There are two MiG-25 in Monino aviation museum in Moscow. I’m sure local museum volunteers will be willing to help if it comes to access to the jet for pics and measurements.

There are some original manuals on maintenance and practical aerodynamics of the MiG-25 on the Ru internet.

This initiative requires a group of dedicated people. We are trying to find them. Big projects very often start small. You are welcome to join, otherwise, thank you for your constructive criticism.🤝

There’s an old saying (well known in Russia), “those who want to do work-look for opportunities, those who don’t, "look for excuses”😏

So you're trying to put together and dev team to create it? In that case, good luck to you and I will be a first day purchase! 👍

You can always try to contact fl0w and see if anything from his and his buddies abandoned MiG-25RBT project could be reused.

The strategy is, to unite all supporters of the MiG-25, see how everyone can contribute - from a vote to doing something specific, gather what’s available and find what is not classified, and in the meantime see what developer may be willing to pick up the project with its community and all data. If we get a solid mod - that’s great, a certified by ED module - even better, but bottom line, the community support should be visible and acknowledged. We are not asking the ED to make the module unless they will be willing to.

Thank you sir!

If Vapour Labs team resurrects - fantastic, if not - there are many talented coders and 3D designers. Let’s create some alternatives.

@Iron_Man I am down to help out. I’ve put in the work for the F-105. I’m sure I can help here. I wish I could model for you but I am a Tool Designer and I used CAD and ASYS. I do however have SolidWorks 22 with Flow Simulation at home. Maybe I can do Aero studies for you with .STEP files?

Nice radiocomms during start up and preflight check. Also like RSBN passing sound

Seems PD had flares:
