I have one on order. I ordered it about 1 and half to 2 months ago.

I expect it to take the full three months until delivery, I am fine with that.

Let us see what it is like, one thing I like about Komodo, they get the scale, shape and curves just right.

I have never flown the Apache from the front seat,  never visited it during a mission as George seems pretty damned good at taking orders.

But the front seater really seems to have a lot of toys to play with.... So let us see.

HP G2 Reverb (Needs upgrading), Windows 10 VR settings: IPD is 64.5mm, High image quality, G2 reset to 60Hz refresh rate. set to OpenXR, but Open XR tool kit disabled.

I bet it was nice pulling it out of the box. I am still waiting for mine. like you I am just letting him get on with it and it will come when it comes.

What are the buttons, switches and cursor like (stiff, loose, smooth)?

Are the grips nice in the hand? Are the grips firm, can they handle being gripped whilst the rest of the arm is limp?

1 button on the bottom/mid front side of each grip is not used in the sim... are these buttons active on the Komodo? I would like to use them as the 2 types of VR zoom.

@FatShadow Still happy with it?

@Rogue Trooper Have you received yours yet? Are the grips strong/firm enough to handle the weight of your arms?

No I have heard nothing yet.

I am generally busy with work so I do not think of the Tedac often, but I got an email off last night asking where it is, let's see if I get a reply.

Corbu1,

How do the Tedac handles flex when holding them in a relaxed hunting state?

CAGE & LMC on the left handle and HDD & LDV on the right handle, are they active?

What do you mean how they flex? They are pretty solid.

the buttons are on the rear side of the handles and do work how they are binded in the sim.

I have attached the device to a flexible monitor arm. So I can adjust the device to my liking and how it feels good to me. The device has prepared mounting holes for Vesa mounts.

I have attached two pictures.  1=extracted position when playing in cpg station, 2= stowed position when playing as pilot.

So the Tedac is attached to an arm that moves? I imagine it works nicely and quickly when required.

It is my intention to set the Tedac to a solid base that includes dedicated CPG MPDs (I own two sets of total controls MPDs). It is the only the fixing point that will have variable geometry... well at least that is my intention.

What are the Tedac switches like compared to the Thrustmaster warthog stick buttons?... I know these Thrustmaster hats/buttons very well. What base are you using for the Cyyclic?

What do you think of the Virpil AH-64D collective and base unit..... nice is it not?

Yes, the arm can be moved. I chose this option for best flexibility doing both cog and plt.

well, mounting should be possible. As said it has vesa mounting holes in the back. There‘s also a tablestand (you see it on Alain‘s pictures in bis post above), which can be removed. When removed then you could use the free bottom mounting holes as well for attaching to your setup.

The buttons work fine. They can be pressed easier as the warthog buttons.

note the Tedac has 2 joystick controllers on left and right grip. Movement is fine and easy. It‘s comparable to the cursor controller on the virpil collective grip.

I really like the Virpil collective and the AH64 grip.

Alain‘s Tedac is really great and feels great. Surfaces are very smooth and feel great when touched, especially the two grips. It‘s a handmade product Alain assembles for each customer. I love the Tedac and I‘m happy to own one.
