I'm on VR Quest 3 at 4800x2600 and switching the new logic off made the spot dots slightly smaller. For me and my setup, It feels slightly better with the option off. But I still believe its way too easy to spot objects, especially ground vehicles. SharpeXB Posted November 23, 2023 Posted November 23, 2023 (edited) “We have been improving the ability to spot targets at realistic ranges” I hope you keep the focus here on realistic ranges. Seeing a small fighter at 20-30 miles isn’t realistic. Everyone knows what realistic ranges are in this regard, it just takes some determination from ED to make this so. Spotting also depends on the weather and lightning. And no it's not easy to spot in VR . Yes I see big dots in the air and some times on the ground, but when i close the gap they disappear. It's not consistent , but we all know that . Besides I've turned off the new spotting feature but I still see black blobs . I confirm both - terrible turnover from dots to 3D object that's not visible yet and no way to get back old method. Maybe it's DLAA that's not helping here too.
