What weapon station are you trying to equip at?

If that doesn't work try deleting the F-14 and its folders and reinstall/redownload it.
PLUTON
Thank you for your response but I do not have a mod relating to the F14 and I am of course on the Open Beta version n° (2.9.2.49940) and unfortunately still no TARPS

The mod doesn't have to be related to the module to mess things up. Either something is corrupt in your F-14 folders or there's another mod that interfere with the TARPS. Due to how DCS handles munition there could be a mod that's seemingly unrelated that overrides stuff in F-14 luas.
Tomcatter87
I'm enjoying the TARPS pod so far - looks good, the photo Tomcat is a nice asset we can build escort missions for. The ladder would be really nice though, I hope it makes it into the next update. One thing I noticed: There was a time when static / AI Tomcats had wheel chocks when placed on a carrier deck. Now they only have the intake covers. Will the wheel chocks be fixed? 1 Modules: F-14A/B | M-2000C | AJS-37 | Mi-24P | F/A-18C | A-10C II | F-16C | UH-1H | F-5E | Mi-8 | FC 3 | AV-8B | A-4E | Gazelle | Ka-50 | Yak-52 | CE2 Maps: Syria | Marianas | NTTR | Persian Gulf | Caucasus Setup: Virpil WarBRD Base & VFX | TM Warthog | Arozzi Velocita Stand | Monstertech Mount | MFG Crosswind | Cougar MFDs | VRInsight Panel | JetSeat 908 | TrackIR

Looks like it's just the animation argument not being correctly set for uncontrolled/static units - the ladder (and the wheel chocks for that matter) are present in the modelviewer. The ladder is argument 91, the wheels are 0 (nose), 3 (right main), 5 (left main) and the chocks are 23. 1 1 Modules I own: F-14A/B, Mi-24P, AV-8B N/A, AJS 37, F-5E-3, MiG-21bis, F-16CM, F/A-18C, Supercarrier, Mi-8MTV2, UH-1H, Mirage 2000C, FC3, MiG-15bis, Ka-50, A-10C (+ A-10C II), P-47D, P-51D, C-101, Yak-52, WWII Assets, CA, NS430, Hawk. LanceCriminal86
Really the boarding ladder should only be down if the crew is boarding, or the ground crew are working on the jet or prepping it. Typical static jet on the deck or tarmac I wouldn't expect to see the ladder deployed. If you're setting a static jet however to have the canopy up then ladder down makes sense. Logically (and may be done eventually) the boarding ladder should be handled under the ground crew comms with the chocks, air supply, and ground power. During startup the ladder should be stowed going off a number of clips such as this from VF-211 at Oceana: 6 Heatblur Rivet Counting Squad™ VF-11 and VF-31 1988 [WIP] VF-201 & VF-202 [WIP]
