I'm guessing we will see the A10, then the Su25 (some varient) and maybe someday the AH64. That's becasue the first two already have alot of the work done, and of course they are single cockpit.

 

The AH64 will be alot of work and we just have to hope ED will last that long......

It may be pointless, but it sparks good discussion and it's interesting to see what the forum market wants to see in upcoming modules.

 

The A-10 is already the next module and it's not even fully underway yet. I'm sure once some development gets under way there will be more discussion on the NEXT module.

 

It's one of the most popular threads in the forum and I'm super curious to what people are saying :)

The current graphics engine is not suitable (or goodlooking) for low level flying. Instead of a new helo sim, a-10 would be better with the current engine. Maybe in the mean time, ED will release the apache with a better engine featuring more detailed land structure..

^^also how challenging it is to fly and fight in a fast mover. The LO engine is SFM for the fighter crafts

I dont see how the current graphics are unsuitable for the Apache. If you have ever played the Longbow series, the graphics were far worse and that game was a hit. I think that they can certainly bring out the apache with this graphics engine. I don't see a problem with it. It can certainly be made better, but I'm not complaining with the current graphics. BRING ON THE APACHE!!!!

I want to see WHATEVER A/C DCS is offering next, NOT what the general public wants in a vote. Voters always seem to vote 50/50 anyway because PEOPLE can never make up their damn minds or one half ALWAYS disagrees with the other HALF. Lets let the experts do their jobs at building what they want to; if they wanted our opinion, then they would have already asked :drink:

So true my friend to be fair i only expect to see what ever the Mods put out really.

But on the other hand other people see it as a forum in which to discuss things related..............which brings us back to what you just said........so the infinate loop continues...........:cry:

i find it rude & cheeky to see these polls for what the public wants.Clearly Ed will provide what they believe the public wants and what there capable of delivering on in a timely manner. just let ed do it please. we all know the A-10 is next . just leave it at that FGS !

I think it just helps pass the time heheh. I'm not sure how they could improve the terrain all that much to be honest. (besides trees that you can run into). Have you seen what terrain looks like from an attack helicopter...we've got another 15 years before we see anything with that level of detail.

 

I personally believe there is more to a sim than graphics. I'm sure as time goes by, mod's or updates will improve the terrain somewhat...look what Mod's did for lockon.

At the moment it only shows, what ED already anticipated (or seemed to)!

So let us enjoy the close advantage for the A-10C, cause this will be next ... and AH-64 is not too far up the road .. maybe not *the* next .. but ... well .. still close .... ;)
