Not really. As it stands now the E model is one of the best modules in DCS. This is why all the cards need to be on the table now or in the future. Every single thing needs to be layed out so comments such as this are valid, or the complete opposite.

Do you have access to ED's sales figures for each module, or are you just speculating?

For sure it's one of the best modules, but that doesn't neccesarry means it's the top revenue earner..

Oh I'm sure the 18 is the highest seller, but that doesn't mean that is the best module. Pound for pound the E model is quite a bit better than most others. However it, and all other RB modules were missing from the '25 video. That speaks volumes.

This isn't going to end well and the F15E will go by the wayside as the C model, -35 and Eurofighter come on line.

If he’s the guy who redid the M2K radar after the AdA got involved, then I believe he did an amazing job.

Having played the M2K in early 2019 before it was redone, I would contend well modeled radars were not a Razbam brand strength at that time, quite the opposite. Here’s hoping talented individuals will get work where they are appreciated.

Actually it doesn't, considering there's a legal dispute going on between RB and ED, it's a smart move to not showcase those modules...

It's almost as laughable as RZ announcing yesterday they WERE going to make/develop 2/3 rotary modules, but... well, they're not now... almost like saying " I almost screwed the prom queen, but she left with the quarter back"

It's done to garner attention..and to stey relevant. this childish behevious between RB and ED is harming the community.

He should focus on "winning" the legal battle between them and ED if he feels 100% confident he can, rather than drop pointless tidbits...

It may be so, but as stated it is not exclusive to Razbam to develop is it ?

For me, an F-15C is simply not a replacement for an F-15E. A supplement, but absolutely no replacement.

Yes, we want both for A2A/Dogfight and BVR/A2G.

There are plenty of people who can paint, but not everyone is Peter Paul Rubens.
As far as I can see, Galinette is special. People like that should be treasured.

Perception vs reality

For every EVH there are 100s of bedroom players who are better

Rubens lived in a time when education was scarce, painting expensive

If the E model had NOTHING to do with whatever issue was being had with RB ( which is seemingly without questions), then cutting payment for that specific module that had nothing to do with it is asinine.

Who says RB is receiving any income from DCS sales at this moment?

It was the only module RB could use as leverage in return, but I do not believe it was stated that payment was suspended solely on the F-15E

It could also be the case that due to payment method, that the F-15 indeed was the only one where money transfers to RB could be blocked

or maybe indeed ED only used payment from this module as leverage and 'good faith' did not block other RB sales

Don't know, or either care

since it most certainly is not, as you call it "asinine"

In ED's eyes, RB is in breach, will not C&D voluntarily , therefore ED grabbed the best thing to force the issue, it's as simple as that.

Well, unless ED demands from Razbam more than a year worth of sales of all their modules, which would be pretty crazy, we're at an interesting point where it's ED that owes Razbam more money than Razbam owes ED, even assuming that all ED claims are valid and they should be paid in full for that breach of contractual obligations.

Of course we do not and will not know the amounts of money involved, and that's fine, but that's interesting thing to think about nonetheless.

You are under the assumption ED can spend, or is spending this money

Not at all, that's irrelevant to this question.

But if I owe you 60k and you owe me 100k, then who pays whom?

That's not how it works

Let's say ED keeps 20% and RB 80% in module sales

that means 80% of F-15 sales is money ED can't spend, or it would literally be theft and RB's lawyers would already be sitting in the Bahama's with a smile after a very short courtcase

As is now, ED is withholding payment, not keeping it, there is a legal difference between these 2

RB can get this money, they just have to stop breaching contract/pay damage incurred by ED due to RB's conduct (or prove ED wrong in a court case)

Yes, in very basic terms, the F-15 sales are being held for "ransom", but in legal terms, only if ED is in the wrong

Pay from what? As far as we know, ED already has this money, and more. Then why are they withholding  more money than they demand? To prove a point? To show who's boss? To kill other company? Because their accountant forgot bank logins?

At this point I certainly don't want to buy anything more from a company, that likes to hold someone else's money for "ransom".
