I've had this discussion at length with our QA department and the CTO.  I'll report bugs they never see, can't reproduce and it boils down to "I use the software, they run test plans".  All kinds of details in those quotes that would make this TL/DR, and QA has no intention of changing that because 'using' the software is too fuzzy and hard to document.

Which is why most release software is really beta, and beta is alpha, and it's honestly not the fault of the developer, it has to do with the way computers work.  Linux was, once upon a time, an exception, but Red Hat has fixed that and now it's as much a mess as Windows.  Yea, Red Hat    Maybe I should go back to VMS or CMS.

done a full repair and now, The planes from FC appears in red when quickmission selected, not the f5 fc , the mig and the sabre, but the original ones are there-

The base problem has not been solved, only partial issues for those who bought on Steam or decide to buy FC4. Meanwhile no news from ED. I hope it will be solved soon, because in any case the warning continues to appear every time you start DCS.

I seem to have solved the problem by removing all six FC3 (sub)modules and reinstalling it via the new UI (not via in-game) module manager. Can anyone confirm?

Those of you buying or upgrading to FC2024 to solve the problem are only cooperating with ED and giving them an excuse not to address the problem.

None of that happened! I didn't have any issues anyway. If you're just going to sit there having issues when there's an easy fix. Well you do you.

Sir;

I removed and reinstalled all the FC3 modules, but that didn't solve anything.

I said that previously.

However; later on, I did solve the problem, at least partially, by clearing all the cache files, but I guess you should already know that by now!

I can now use the FC3 modules, but if I go into the module manager the program still tells me to install FC3.

I just ignore it.

At least his silence is something striking. and several days have passed. For my part, I am not willing to pay 10 dollars just so that an annoying warning does not appear every time I launch DCS.

I did exactly that... did not solve the problem. I still get the warning that I need to install FC3... I have all the planes but they come up as individual aircraft for DCS, not under FC3.

Is this by design though... is this how it is supposed to be after buying the upgrade to FC 2024?

That’s the way it is now. The aircraft are listed individually according to all reports. I’m still downloading the update. So can’t speak from personal experience.

Unfortunately, I still don't know what to do. I removed FC3, the advantage is that it does not ask for authorization , but now I only have one module to install (Su-33?), the rest is not visible, and the DCS itself is inside, I want to continue installing FC3.

Not a Steam version.

I uninstalled all the FC3 planes minus the Su-33 since I own SC. What I noticed though is none of the individual modules or FC3 are in the "Available" folder in the new DCS Launcher.

I'm an ex Steam user after their refund policy became unworkable for testing new modules.  I fixed my problem by accessing my DCS user account and re-transferring my Steam FC3 license to DCS.

My apologies if I have offended you, English is not my native language. I made a comment about a problem that many people have. and while one can partially "fix" it, I think ED should take action on the matter. I don't blame anyone in particular, it's just a problem that we users shouldn't solve; At least that is my opinion respectfully. On the other hand I don't drink. Greetings.
