I have the same issue after updating, but with just Afghanistan, and VR is enabled in DCS, but not in general.  I ran DCS without explicitly disabling VR.  Logging out of DCS and logging back in did not correct the error.  Disabling and re-enabling the terrain also did not correct the error.

I have Normandy 2.0 and not the original Normandy scenery installed which could be a factor.

Starting DCS with VR explicitly disabled in single-threaded version or multi-threaded version has no effect on the error.  VR headset still attached and still off.

Using the new launcher or not, has no effect on the message.

Same. What is going on lately with bugs? DCS has been unplayable for me several times this year. I think the increase in module releases and getting rid of Open Beta/stable versions is biting them, and us, in the ass.

I have done repaired and cleaned DCS using the utility.

The crazy thing is... I was cruising around Afghanistan last night at 2230hrs CST. I did install a Mod, but, chose to uninstall it without even starting up DCS. And actually did a slow repair just to make sure everything went smooth...

I don't think so, this morning there was no error, neither yesterday, it was when trying to launch right now.

I only have FC3.

Same here. I was literally flying a Spit in Normandy, logged-out, got a drink, came back and it won't authorize either Normandy or Afghanistan (or any of the FC-3 planes I own, which is not that big a deal, but STILL...).

Same here and I've been flying it for the past 3 hours. I restarted DCS to sort my TrackIr and suddenly Afghanistan disabled not authorised. I'm in the middle of building a large static template. I don't own FC£/4. I do have a couple of FC3 aircraft.

I was just flying in the Hog, turned my view distance up to high because I couldn't even see Kandahar at 1,000 feet, DCS restarted to reset the settings and Afghanistan is gone. DCS world is becoming soul destroying. I am playing this less and less because it is just getting worse.

I don't know if for you people property is big of a deal, but when I own something and don't have much time to spend on it and when I've time I'd like to play and discover it's taken from me, I'm a bit irritated.

For 2 days now, I've actually had time to play.  I am getting a message that says Afghanistan, SU-25 and A-10A are unauthorized.  I've checked my settings and nothing is uninstalled, everything is paid for, this just happened when I loaded the newest patch.  I not normally upset at little things, but DCS is starting to have problems, i.e. modules not getting updated, things delayed.  I guess the most upsetting is early access stuff that we pay full price for, not getting updated

Check your AV hasn't quarantined any files, especially if you use Malwarebyes as that flagged 18 files as malicious, they have whitelisted them now so should add back fine if you do a repair and not get removed again.

On mine I removed two files it claimed were malicious and the SU-27 and SU-33 stopped working and gave similar messages to what you have, not authorised and it would disabled them in 2d 23h 59m. As soon as I put the files back it was fine.

No files quarantined, no files flagged as malicious, and still no Afghanistan, or FC3.

I only use Windows AV, my folders are already added to the exceptions lists. I've tried a few repairs. I also tried turning off the few FC3 aircraft I have and a few mods. It hasn't worked so I submitted a support ticket. They confirmed on Discord that they were aware of the problem. It's really frustrating as I've been building a template for hours on Afghanistan. These last two patches seem to have introduced loads of issues.

Same issue for me, in the afternoon everything worked fine, now I have the message of authorization failed for Normandy 2.0 ( I do not own Afghanistan...).

Same exact issue. Identical. Glad to hear I'm not the only one.

The following DLCs are now authorized and will be disabled:

Afghanistan

Normandy
