-Bl4ckH4wK- Posted August 21, 2024 Posted August 21, 2024 You're going to find all you need to know in the link below : https://www.wikihow.com/Change-Mouse-Polling-Rate **If your mouse has no software, no problem, in the link you'll find one universal software, I installed, super easy, works! I've underclocked my mouse, 1000hz to 500hz (HZ IS NOT DPI). **You may still experience some fps drop and stutter for many other reasons. 3 1
TKhaos Posted August 21, 2024 Posted August 21, 2024 Was telling someone about this the other day on Steam and how to do it. I personally don't have any issues with my Logitech mouse at 1000Hz polling rate but then a friends Corsair is terrible, even at 500Hz polling rate so ended up dropping it to 125Hz. It's not too bad, just drops it to 125Hz with the iCue software while he's playing then puts it back to normal afterwards. 2
SharpeXB Posted August 22, 2024 Posted August 22, 2024 I didn’t see this problem until I recently tried the Apache on the Syria map. Yeah moving the mouse induced stutters. Changing it to 500 solved it though. 2 i9-14900KS | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | 64GB DDR5 5600MHz | iCUE H150i Liquid CPU Cooler | ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4090 OC | Windows 11 Home | 2TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe | Corsair RM1000x | LG 48GQ900-B 4K OLED Monitor | CH Fighterstick | Ch Pro Throttle | CH Pro Pedals | TrackIR 5

Flappie Posted September 30, 2024 Posted September 30, 2024 This should now be fixed with today's update. You can try a higher polling rate and tell us if that's fixed for you. ---

jackd Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 (edited) Tip: clean your shader cache files with Windows Disk Cleanup. ADDED, still had occasional gameplay stutters, but now with Vsync and fullscreen OFF, 2.9.8 DCS open beta seems to run OK with DCS from the bin-MT folder. (NO VR ). Edited October 15, 2024 by jackd 1
