It is sale and I wanted to get a new plane. I would have loved to buy the MB-339. But as I found out, this module doesn't even have a flight director. That makes no sense to me! It's just part of a trainer. Will it be included in the module? Otherwise I don't even need to think about buying the MB-339.

If you check the IFE Discord, many times they confirmed that is in testing 🙂 Hopefully soon.

Flight Director is planned for "soon (tm)".

AFAIK might be included in the september update.

Do you own the C-101 already? If you are in the market for a trainer it doesn’t get much better than this.

The only downside is that it has no Autopilot whatsoever. The FD is awesome though.

It‘s close to release you guys said early this year.
We faced some critical issues and we were not happy of the behaviour of the other modes.

Anyway we already showed a working demo in one of our videos.
If we didn't release yet the update, it's because we were not happy of our work.

We already faced many issues with the
MB-339 at the beginning because we didn't tested enough some features, causing random explosions and CTDs.

To be honest, we don't want to make the same mistakes.

Awesome. The MB-339 is an awesome trainer, but the FD is really missing right now. Looking forward to it!

Please create a flight plan between the two airfields, taking into account the required and reserve fuel, wind, optimal speed of climb and descent, speed at the echelon, navigation by beacons, correct approach.

I think it will be very interesting!

Can you recommend publications on the Internet about flights on MB-339? Not necessarily about combat missions, about regular flights and about training on this plane?

I can recommend the MB339 training manual. It is a bit old and referred to the pre-MLU version but still valid.

The manual contains little information about the flight on the echelon. I have not found a table of the ratio between altitude and optimal speed.
How to correctly calculate the altitude and flight speed between airfields at a distance of 100 nm? 300 nm?
It would be interesting to see the plan of such flights!

Best MB-339A planning guide I've found is "Appendix A" of the real "PI AD-03-39A - Instrument Flying and Navigation Manual" dated 1st June 1989

Guys, i just bought the MB and i can't make the HSI to work, label OFF won't go and so it keeps caged. FDR is initialized and allign is complete. What i'm doing wrong?

Known issue for a cold start.  See below for workaround (or hotstart)

Note the training missions for rockets, bombs, etc are also waiting updates as the depressions settings were changed
