First of all, we want to thank you for your feedback: Thank you for this! We are glad that you liked the idea and the new functionality of the map. The Ugra-Media team is making every effort to make the map even more interesting and continues to take into account the opinions and requests of DCS users. Recently, we expanded the functionality of the map, you asked to add new locations and we did it. Now you have even more opportunities for new flights and missions. Let's take a look at one of the new features: Hatzor is an Israeli military base built in 1942 for the British Royal Air Force (hello Normandy 2.0). The Combined Operations Center for the US military and Israel is located here. It is interesting that the base has simulators for training F-15 and F-16 pilots and the 420th Squadron or "Fighter Aircraft Simulator Squadron" is stationed here - these guys understand us better than anyone. something new You guys are destroying all other maps 2 1 System specs: i7-8700K @stock speed - GTX 1080TI @ stock speed - AsRock Extreme4 Z370 - 32GB DDR4 @3GHz- 500GB SSD - 2TB nvme - 650W PSU HP Reverb G1 v2 - Saitek Pro pedals - TM Warthog HOTAS - TM F/A-18 Grip - TM Cougar HOTAS (NN-Dan mod) & (throttle standalone mod) - VIRPIL VPC Rotor TCS Plus with ALPHA-L grip - Pointctrl & aux banks <-- must have for VR users!! - Andre's SimShaker Jetpad - Fully adjustable DIY playseat - VA+VAICOM - Realsimulator FSSB-R3 ~ That nuke might not have been the best of ideas, Sir... the enemy is furious ~ GUMMBAH

MAESTR0 Posted October 25, 2024 Author Posted October 25, 2024 Hi fighters Today we continue the story about our update. The words "Main", "most", "largest" best suit this message, and all this applies to our new airfields: Ben Gurion International Airport and Tel Nof Airbase. These are the main runways of Israel for civilians and military. A little information: Ben Gurion International Airport (ICAO: LLBG), is the main international airport of Israel. MAESTR0 Posted October 26, 2024 Author Posted October 26, 2024 "UM001, RADIO CHECK" Hi Today will not be an ordinary review. I want to show you a video created by our team of testers Ugra-Media, for which we are very grateful. This is the first experience of creating videos, we wish you good luck and look forward to new works. By creating this video, we wanted to draw the attention of users of the Syria map to the new features that appeared on it in the latest and upcoming updates on October 30. Among them, we first of all want to highlight the new Israeli airfields Ben Gurion, Hatzor, Palmaсhim and Tel Nof. The appearance on the Syria map of more than 100 military bases and helipads. The ability to destroy most of the original objects, including the tolls on the Euphrates. And hundreds of other improvements that we added to the Syria map. 7 11

cygnet778 Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 Great job and detailing. However just for the sake of realism concerning Beirut Airport at least, there are several A300's with different Iranian operators' liveries as part of the static scenery, and that's not really accurate. The local traffic would rather be the national flag carrier of Lebanon -MEA- which is the main operator at the airport (even more so during these times). Another new item is a military Radar placed between runways 16 and 17, which also isn't there in real life. I've created a static civil aircraft scenery that mimics its real counterpart, with custom made liveries that I would be happy to share (they work with the civil aircraft mod) 1 1 i9-9900K GeForce RTX2080Ti 3.6Ghz stock boost to 5.0GHz, 64Gb RAM Kingston DDR4, DCS on SSD Kingston SA10008480G, LG monitor 144Hz 34" curved, TrackIR 5 TM Warthog HOTAS, TM TPR Pendular Rudder
Raisuli Posted October 27, 2024 Posted October 27, 2024 This is nuts. Syria is my go-to map, pretty much has been since it was released. Ramat David was my primary southern base. When Sinai came out I flew it for a while with Tel Nof as the northern base (Ramat David is just dirt; you can see the outline), but I came back to Syria. Afghanistan I think got used once. Iraq...we'll see. No idea how many years it will take to get those baked; Syria is game ready. At the rate they're developing this map I don't see any competition on the horizon. Every kind of terrain imaginable, no shortage of bases (no geopolitics on my maps, so everything is fair game), endless possibilities. Flew around some helo bases south of the grid at the north end of the Dead Sea tonight (first time I've flown any sim in about three months. First landing I put an AH-64 within a couple feet of where my eyeball was pointed, second time I put it on a helipad. This has never happened before. Ever.) and realize Jerusalem has the urban infrastructure in place. This is all OFF the bloody map, so now I wonder if they're going to extend the grid south. Tel Nof? I know there was a guy building models for Tel Nof to correct the errors when Sinai was released, and I can't wait to see what gets done with it here! Screenshots look really nice! New southern base. Carriers to the west. Bad guys wherever they happen to be, R&R in Beirut, exploring the ruins at Palmyra, exploring the old town at Acre...what is there to want? 3
flyingcyrus Posted October 27, 2024 Posted October 27, 2024 Syria map is a wonderful playground for DCS, thanks Ugra for all the updates and enhancements Having said that, is there a reason/limitiation why the goals on football fields are way too big (around 5x bigger than they should be in real life) ? It breaks the immersion a bit when I land a chopper on one of those, especially in VR 2 10700K / 4090 / 32Go / 34" curved Gigabyte / Reverb G1 / Thrustmaster hardware among other harderware things. I find your lack of FPS disturbing... C8<]

Fungible Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 It's honestly amazing what Ugra has done. Only thing I wish now for this map is for it to be much more green, especially in the northern parts and around Bassel-Al Assad like IRL. 3
Flogger23m Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 Nice update. Those screen shots made me remember there are no AI T-62s in game, so it was a surprise to see them even as props. I believe this area is new? Nice set up, a lot of these places make for nice mission settings. Just placed some vehicles and helis around for a quick mission. 1
DD_Friar Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 (edited) You have added lots of new Heliports (thank you) however but they do not have unique names they are all just "H", this is causing some issues with mission building scripts. Is there ANY way they can be given a unique code, even if its only H1, H2, H3, just to make them referenceable? This map is fast becoming my squads "go to" map for our weekly flying and missions. Edited November 1, 2024 by DD_Friar 1 Visit the Dangerdogz at www.dangerdogz.com. We are a group based on having fun (no command structure, no expectations of attendance, no formal skills required, that is not to say we can not get serious for special events, of which we have many). We play DCS and IL2 GBS. We have two groups one based in North America / Canada and one UK / Europe. Come check us out.
