WWII Naval a/c, ships, maps and ground units

I see all the photo and vids of WWII Naval a/c and ships, when can we expect to be flying off the old Enterprise to get the Zeros???

Not sure about that. The DCS.log now throws errors regarding the A-1, Corsair and MiG-17....

I could see the Corsair and MiG17. The MiG had looked well on its way. And the Corsair just have been done long ago. But the A1 didn't look 10% done last it was shown. Not that long ago either.

 

So one does not fit the two others.

One thing I'd like to see in DCS related to WW2 is the stuff that the Soviets used. Seriously, for one of the most produced AFVs in the world (the Universal Carrier is #1, T-34 is #2, but the exact numbers of the M113 aren't known, so it could be tied), it's odd that the T-34 is completely absent from the game.

Agreed I have said this multiple times. I would love to see ED focus on adding some assets that overlap with the I-16 and MiG-15. These have both been in DCS for a while and exist in an asset desert. Also I'd love to see the Overlord invasion fleet

Without the eastern front map it'd be out of place but considering that DCS is also a sand box, the popularity and sheer number of T-34, it should be added.

I mean, they were used quite a bit by the Arab states in the early Arab Israeli wars. And according to this map:

most of the regions the sim currently covers had them at some point of another.

We have a Korea war campaign that uses Caucasus. But we have to bomb German WW2 tanks. Since there isn't any early cold war soviet ground units.

And since DCS is a so called sand box. As we are told whenever we complain about assets missing for maps or aircraft. Then the lack of an eastern front map/Korea map shouldn't be a reason for not adding a T34.
