 Maybe the shiny new 2025 and beyond video is delayed because they are editing out any faulty deactivated train flybyes 

 Maybe im wrong and they are going to showcase a new Rail Gun for the super Carrier

Some people over on Reddit are saying that it is the Vietnamese embassy on the right. I say it could be everything. Also there seems to be an antenna on that roof which the embassy didn't have, I think. Then again, there are some distinct palm leaves over the eagle which would fit neither Germany nor Central Korea.

It's important to remember that the "2025 and Beyond" video is always about a given year and the future. Just because we see something there doesn't mean it will appear in a given year. Here's an example summary found on Discord with the latest video "2024 and Beyond":

The work is still in progress and let's hope that some of it will appear in 2025. 2024 definitely suffered under the influence of WWII, nothing appeared here so fingers crossed still!

Maybe part of the Fulda Gap or map of Germany West/East? The north-south layout fits a little less well, but it may be a fragment of the border, because the map will reach all the way to the end of Eastern Germany, close to the border with Poland.

It could be anything, so far we have never talked about Korea map for DCS, but it could also be the Balkans, which the author of the Sinai maps is supposedly working on.

The building we see on the right looks more like the US embassy in Vietnam, but there is a similar one on the screen next to it, but it doesn't exist in reality. This is a rather distant interpretation:

Btw. What you see here, they are:

fighters, armored artillery and fortifications. 

Since there are planes here, this may also be a preview of the dynamic campaign that someone mentioned here.

Agreed. For me, "the core" would represent the stuff we get with DCS, and that is shared between all missions (meaning: third party work like Kola, Phantom etc) is not part of the core. Fog is, and - even though it remains far behind our hopes, and makes a mockery of the term "realism" - it has added a lot for me in terms of immersion (shooting a successful precision approach in IMC with ground fog now has become so much more gratifying). 

I truly hope that the core (shared infrastructure) improves this year, to prevent DCS becoming a hollowed-out shell that merely feeds off its former reputation. There's a lot of technical debt piling up, and the fine folk at ED are hopefully up for the challenge and can resist the temptation to merely milk the crowds through ever-new unfinished modules. I don't know about you, I own some 20 Early Access modules (yeah, slow learner), and i would love to see some of them receiving updates to make them true, quality releases - and the core to receive enough updates to raise overall quality of DCS to a 2020 level app (to me, it currently feels like an early 2000 level app). 

Here's to ED mastering that challenge and hopefully many, many more years of excitement.

This may be intended to call our attention to some older (years ago) communication about automatic front line generation that the kind folk at ED narrated when they mentioned their internal 'dynamic campaign'. So perhaps the video will showcase some red/blue front line visualization. We'll see. We know that in those "xxx and beyond" videos, the beyond part usually does the heavy lifting, so let's be both positive and cautions when it comes to our expectations.

It is definitely a preview of the DC

And I doubt there are any palm trees in Germany

So it can be just a random pic that does not represent a new map, or a new map that is not in the North

The Vietnam map would be just awesome, Balkans as well. I think we need some Africa maps, there were lots of wars last 60 years

I would like to see AH-1G, UH-60 (any variant), FF Su-25A, Mi-2, some modern chinese aircrafts, C-130 release date, Su-22M4 release date, new ground AI, infantry on passanger seats etc

That is patently untrue. I've seen literally dozens of them, clustered inside these Spanish, Italian, Greek and Lebanese restaurants in Hamburg. Even - nay especially - in winter....
