Su-22m4 cockpit got proper normalmaps and roughmets now.
Also, I announce that Su-22 will have some basic clickable functionality - simplified cold start, wing sweep controll, lights, gears, weapon panel etc
Clickable cold start will fix problems with cold start that the mod currently have - Su-27 FM sees the plane as having 2 engines and nose wheel steering while Su25A avionics dont see it (and obvously we have one engine)
It makes you unable to turn when started cold.
Making a clickable action through lua should force comands like NWS on and "both" engines start into FM.
We'll see how that works, stay tuned for more updates 🔥

Landing gear Height Fixed

Thanks 👍, I can see improvement but it's not yet what it should be, I'll show you the proportions later. If possible, don't close your work here yet.

Great work on the Su-22M4 mod, VinntoreZ! The custom cockpit and external model look fantastic, and the variety of liveries is impressive. Since Vietnam is one of the countries actively operating the Su-22, it would be amazing to see a Vietnamese Air Force skin included in the mod. It’d be a great nod to the aircraft’s real-world use and add even more authenticity to the project. Keep up the awesome work, and looking forward to the release

Elegancko. Masz już przybliżoną datę wydania? Dzięki za kawał dobrej roboty. Brakowało tej suczki w DCS. 👏👏👏 (Elegant. Do you have an estimated release date? Thanks for the great work. We missed this bitch in DCS.)

Su-22M4 Clickable Cold Start - Not 100% what is IRL and Still Work In progress

Hey buddy! Just dropping by again to congratulate you on your excellent work! DCS urgently needs better 3D models like this SU-22M4!

By any chance, would you have plans to make models just for AI? For example, to replace the ugly and outdated models, like the MiG-27, or some others that we don't have in DCS?

A bit more time, so I can see the problem with proportions that is still there and concerns the front wheel. You can clearly see the difference, After the change, the model still sits too low. Here I have a quite similar shot from the near same angle.

Now look for the proportion, the main gear is near 90% of fuselage (below canopy), the height even reaches the antenna/pitot tube if you take straight line:

Proportion in the model (too short):

Hope it helps.

Nice job VinntoreZ 👍
However I agree with YoYo. The shock absorbers/struts (primarily at the front but for the main wheels too)  - it's not short but : should be in a pushed out/expanded position.
Front
wheel support/holder fork/arm in your screenshot about 45 degrees but it should be around 65-70 degrees (angle to ground). - of course it can be less with a fully loaded/armed aircraft.

The difference between full and empty is not that big in the Su-22. That's a good example. But I agree, it's also a problem of the angle of the bracket.

MiG-23 is also in plans for future, based in fc3. Maybe MiG-27 someday

Check also what @NRG-Vampire wrote, maybe this is where the main problem lies, maybe that the front wheel leg itself is ok, but the shock absorber is too soft, which causes too much deflection of the front wheel (check angle of bracket in the model and on the real pictures). Thank you!

Like the real one! 👍

Also looks like the canopy on the real jet is a lot smaller/ sleeker? The pilot in the photo has very little headroom. The pilot in the mod looks to have almost twice as much room. Just a constructive criticism. Mod is looking awesome otherwise 🙂
