I have an issue sometimes that when aiming and lasing something with the TEDAC, the bullets seem to be off to one side, making it very complicated to aim since you have to eyeball it and it's a very inaccurate way to do it. Granted I do not boresight the ihads in the front seat, but it shouldn't be needed. And I also take off before waiting the INS, but I don't think that's the cause either, because it seems to happen after some successful shots, it doesn't happen from the beginning. Anyone else has experienced this? is this a known bug? Next time I'll try waiting for the alignment, see if that makes any difference.

I know it's an area weapon, but when you shoot a round of 10 bullets, you want them all to fall in the general area you are looking at. With this bug, I get them all of them offset. If it keeps happening, I'll record it so you can see it better.

Tom P Posted May 15 Posted May 15 I only brought up area vs point because a lot of people think the gun is supposed to be laser accurate. Get the helicopter into a hover and shoot around and see if the rounds are still impacting left/right. I never really had a problem, if there's a slight left/right I just adjust to where the last rounds made impact. Try troubleshooting some other the things you mentioned in the first post.

NeedzWD40 Posted May 17 Posted May 17 It's a wind compensation issue. There should be some effects from wind (we can't compensate for all variables, naturally), but not to the extent in game. The real aircraft does incorporate wind correction, which has been acknowledged since October 2024. You can test this by setting up an empty mission with 0 wind and see that the rounds are spot on every time, while setting wind and turbulence results in rounds not even hitting anywhere in your FOV. 1

On thing i noticed a long time, that when gunner is Geaorge these bullets are always right in the area so no offset. ive done this fryday at 4 y server europe syrya map and they were shot next to the target I am not moving so heli is inhover and target is also not moving, there is no wind to affect flypath of bullets - just made a test miss in single player not server it works perfect with man range Automic my first bullet hit so i gues his is a server side issue - no just made a trackfile from caucausus server i in the gunner seat in the test area on the 4ya europe this only happens on multiplayer servers please investigate this bug, now you have a track file 4YA_CAU_PVE_V2.132[03_DEC_BKN]-20250525-130040.trk Edited May 25 by beacon
