reported Countermeasures dispenses all chaff flares

When I set dispense to on then go to ew page and set to auto, it starts dispensing all counter measures. Even in no threat environment. What am I doing wrong

Something broke with the last update. I've noticed this also. Even in manual mode, it's behaving strangely.

Using the throttle quadrant, the dispense button should be simple. In manual mode, whatever program you set. The fwd button is supposed to dispense only one if the item, and aft is the other. I'm not in front of the game now, but the settings page still confirms the intent. Fwd on the thumb switch should dispense whatever the selected program is set to dispense for qty and type. For example, if the program on page 5 is selected, and it's set to 1 each, then the switch should pop one of the commanded, be it chaff or flare, depending on which way the pilot pushes that switch. Right now, it is fwd to run program, which doesn't seem to correlate to the settings programmed, and aft to stop program. It's all messed up.

i have logitech x52 pro, and have it set to one of the buttons. Even when i go in and set disnese one round, it sets all of them off and in auto soon as i set it it just empties all of them

This is fixed internally, but did not make it in time for the hotfix. Thanks!

This happens to me also. All of them go with one button press. I know this has been noted and hopefully will be fixed in the future. But I want to play now.  Does anyone know a work around, is there a way to use chaff and flare at the moment?

I don't know if this is related, but I was also having an issue with the CW programming and dispensing all of my CMs. I even spent the last evening watching online YT tutorials. All said that the dispenser switch forward while in the On position will activate Program 5 (1C/1F 2x and 1 sec)... I even set Program 5 to zero C and F, and hitting the switch forward still dispensed my CMs... turns out there are now 6 programs (not 5) and the switch forward activates Program 6 and not 5. The default for 6 is set to 2 each of F and C, and also 20 repeats at 0.75 sec, and explains why I was burning through my CMs.

I just noticed that after the last update of 19 June, the default CW program is no longer Program 6 but is back to Program 5 (along with its 2x F and C with 20 repeats).

And I noticed that when changing programs, pressing STEP sometimes but not always skips from program 6 to program 2

Since this all started I just put mine in bypass. At least I dont drop 60 chaff/flares constantly. Maybe I will change back to the CMS programs when they fix the issue.

So, with no threats it is supposed to start blowing off chaff and flare until it runs out?  That doesn't seem to make any sense and it's not how it has functioned in the past.  Maybe the old version was in error but this new set-up seems even stranger than before hand.

Sorry I thought you meant you were getting nails in auto and it was dispensing.  

To confirm, you're saying with no nails, in auto, you dispense?

I'm unable to repro in free flight miz.
