Caucasus better airport lighting and asphalt

Recommended Posts

I think that in addition to all these fixes, fixes, additions to everything, and after a long time that has passed, at least better lights are being added to all airports on the Caucasus map, at least like the ones on the Syria map. I don't want to hear that it's impossible and will never happen. The Caucasus map has been completely unjustifiably neglected for years. I would like our forum to support the updating of the Caucasus map as much as possible, before all other maps.

Thanks for the support, that's right, the map of the Caucasus was updated a few years ago and it was done excellently, but all the airports are kind of dark when you get to them, there's not enough light, illumination, general lighting is lacking, I very often get lost at airports that I know very well, such as Kobuleti, when I land, the lines are very poorly visible, it would be great if all the runways were paved and a yellow line was added to them, along with good lights at the airports themselves, that's the only thing this map might be missing.

I totally agree! They have stated that all maps will eventually receive the lighting update the PG map got.
Cheers!

Whilst ED is in the business to selling maps I dont see much of a priority case for making a free one much better. Especially one that basically offers something for everyone like the Caucauses does.

I will give a +1 though.

Well, it's the default map, and anyone will use it, (maybe except for the two Marianas now), so it is basically their showcase map, and should be as good as possible to show off the tech.

Marianas are the freeby showcases. As are the  promo reels and the ED favorite you-tubers. Caucauses is the "look how well it runs on your potoato - BUY MORE!!" map.

Adding more power demanding tech is possibly not just about time and effort but also about how is plays to a prospective customer.

I think its day will come in time but I cant see that time being in the near furutre.

Well, the Caucasus are installed by default
The Marianas are not. That's what I mean. If they had brought the Caucasus up to Marianas levels, we would have seen it more in videos. And the Marianas are not shown that often compared to other maps like Syria, Germany and Iraq.
We just disagree, and that's fine.

I am personally a fan of green maps, and that is the Caucasus and my first love since Lomac, I would like something to change, here is the lighting of all airbases with asphalt surfaces would be a good sign and a step forward, and as for the Mariana Islands, they are beautiful but they did not attract me, I do not like small areas, specifically for my flying in the A-10 a very small area, the exotic is superb but such changes of scenery like the Caucasus are still something special for me..Caucasus +10

I don't think we talk here about the map overhaul. Just simple things like actual lights instead of ground textures at the airports, something that got added to PG a few years ago, nothing fancy or demanding. We already got some night lighting improvements to Caucasus (distant lights).
