YoYo Posted yesterday at 08:09 PM Posted yesterday at 08:09 PM (edited) I just installed the patch and everything is fine. Maybe a mod conflict? Raven (Elysian Angel) Posted yesterday at 08:18 PM Posted yesterday at 08:18 PM I just did a quick (runway start) flight to test the auto-pilot changes (definitely work-in-progress but that's off-topic here), and I didn't notice anything wrong with the gauges. LCO489 Posted yesterday at 09:13 PM Author Posted yesterday at 09:13 PM Nothing. Repair and mods exclusion, same results.

I am using the VPForce Rhino. No idea why FFB might cause a problem with the VVI but stranger things have happened.
YoYo Posted yesterday at 09:40 PM Posted yesterday at 09:40 PM (edited) Btw. You can check if it's a problem with the English-only cockpit and the imperial system. In the Russian cockpit and metric system, there's no problem and any issue. I've now done a Cold Start and it's fine as well. I think this might apply to the imperial version only (if any). Metric is fine. Oberst Struppi Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I‘am surprised how much the newest Update destroyed the MIG-29. Sometimes i‘am asking myself how things are being tested before going online. I mean VVI and Radar ALT gauges are literally dead which brings the 29 to an unflyable state. Is there no one hopping in the airplane, checking the systems when theres an update about to come out? I dont get it. 1

Hi, if you think there is a bug please make a new thread with a track replay, dont derail this one. thank you Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Oberst Struppi Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago @BIGNEWY Hi Scott! The bugs, including the track files, have already been reported and posted by other users. No offence. I‘am very patient, but i do not understand how things are tested before such an update is released. VVI, Radar Altimeter are two basic instruments. Without a working VVI theres no chance to even land the airplane safely. Furthermore this is 100% obvious when getting in the MIG-29. You‘ll notice this within seconds. 1

Blackbahia Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago The Vertical speed indicator in the Mig-29A Fulcrum no longer works since the update on 22. October. I emptied the fxo and metashaders2 folder, performed DCS repair, restarted the PC, but the needle remains on neutral. Is this a general issue, or is it just me? 1
Ornithopter Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Yeah, this is most certainly broken. I guess I won't be flying ifr in this aircraft. I think there should be a hotfix, just for this.
Blackbahia Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I've this issue with both cockpit, the english and the default (russian, or?)...and also the radar altimeter doesn't work
HUZARN Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Set the DCS settings to Metric and everything will work for you.
Ornithopter Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Just now, HUZARN said: Set the DCS settings to Metric and everything will work for you. That's the workaround for the instrument not working? People shouldn't have to mess around with those settings for the variometer to work. FIX IT!
