very good idea. but you could talk to walmis or borchi to make a new mod including their f-15C, this nasa f15 and (by modifying this one) a f15D or E.and to insert all of them in one single mod like virevolte tigrou did with the gripen....its just an idea...

No. F-15 SMTD and Active have different nozzles. It have vector thrust system like Su-35.

Please don't feel offended, but thinking out loud I ask myself why modders bring the strangest AC to LO instead of reworking the existing units to bring the sim to a higher level?? Not everything must be flyable to be a worthy feature! (This is not especially directed to you Alper!! It just happened in your thread... :music_whistling: )

However... Best luck with this project!!!

I kinda agree with you here (a new Su-33 model anyone?)

But whatever the case, i'm apprieciative of any work the modders bring to this community

Good point Laud. But i allways prefer to make unique aircrafts. Already some people bring higher level to units.(F-15,Su-27,Mig-29,A-10) And that was a mistake to wait all things from the mod teams. Eagle Dynamics MUST support the mod capability of that game. Else people continue making strange units/aircrafts to game and continue solace themselfs.

I mean the non-flyables. Just look at the C-130, C-17, Su-24, and so on and so on... It's a pain to watch them!

But as mentioned before: I do also apprieciate each piece of work one brings to the game! I just felt the need to throw this point into the room...

Great you all didn't take it offensive! TY

Hello,

I like it a lot. I should be a nice aircraft for airshows just like VFAT. A little lovely single display world be pretty nice. I constructed an F-15StrikeEagle in the past an its nice to show some upgrades of the Eagle family. Think the western aircrafts are a little bit under represented while we have 3 Mig variants and two Flanker jets. Allthough eastern jets have a great design :)

Oh ... sorry - dreamed . Anyways - Nice work up to here:thumbup:

Very best wishes

I completely agree with Laud, making a model of some experimental aircraft is insane and waste of time and talent (if the modeler has such talent). I thought this first time I saw the thread and wanted to post but thought it would be too harsh, but seriously... for me personally I wouldn't care how good and nice the model becomes I would not get it because it fits nowhere in the game so there is no point to have it... anyway, sorry if again I sound harsh but that's how I feel.

Well, yes. Okay- there are many things to do to upgrade parts of LOMAC. Specially some aircrafts and helicopters. But I allways on the point that if it is an modded aircraft nearly the original LOMAC fighter- them it should be okay. So for examble the switching between F-15c and E-version. (And dammed- I`ll do it if I will find out a way to drob bombs with it!)

Nice model! It looks a little off around the canopy, nose and aft end. But HEY! It looks nice nonetheless! Here's some pictures to compare:

The two seater does look nicer then the single seater...

Hi,

thanks a lot. I was a little bit confuse after I saw last postet pics `course I use very detailed prints. In photos the canopy section looks a little bit higher. Isn`t it possible that Airforce modifyed their cockpit section after after they becam some heavy problems with breaking spants while flying, is it? Otherwise I have to modify it as well.

Thanks a lot,

AFAIK, the canopy on the E is exactly the same as the B/D except for some extra duct work from environmental controls to cool avionics and the lack of a manual release latch on the right side of the inside of the canopy that's present in the A/C models.

I think the reason why the canopy sometimes looks more bulbous (like a bubble), is parallax because it's usually shot from ground level, or from above, and rarely directly level.

These pics are close to level - you can see that the canopy rails are level on either side.

Yeah - thats it. Cool - thanks. It should be allways a question of view angle to object. If somebody out there who remind about "F-15 StrikeEagleIII" by "Microprose". In this game the user had the option to fly as pilot or weapon system operator. Think that would be a great option for DCS someday. Su -30MKK against F-15E -hell that should rock:punk::punk:

Thanks a lot, Best wishes,
