I just hope that FC2 will come out pretty soon. I do not want my child to be mocked up in school because her old man is playing 32-bit game :helpsmilie:

Oh, let me tell you a story about 32-bit...

 

Once upon a time there was a kingdom where docile farmers lived. They were ruled by old king who had only one child, a blond princess full of life. People loved her, because she lover her father, was kind to older, playful with children and generous with those that lost all in market crash. She wanted to upgrade the kingdom to 64-bit, but the old king came from a long line of royalties that did not need fans to cool them down, in fact, they used only passive brass coolers on their crowns.

 

It was a night, and the rain was about to settle, together with all the people that it helped to lull into a deserved sleep after hard working autumn day. Old king was sitting next to a big window from where he used to watch her daughter play when she was a child. Oh, it feels like it was only a yesterday. Now she was crossing the yard, not caring that her dress is falling into brownish puddles that were receiving their last drops, cos she heard her favorite GPU being restless without any apparent reason. Just as she was about to open the cover on big tower, with her USB vacuum cleaner in her hand, Moon came out of the clouds, and reflected its face in the many puddles that were surrounding her. She turned toward the Moon with smile her eyes closed, as she was facing the Sun and trying to soak its warmth, but the bright glare from the calm guardian was abruptly cut.

 

On the big tower, there was a dragon!

 

The legend was true! It was the the Effsee Too! He was just as in her nightmares, only more terrifying, because he was not moving at all, with only puffs of hot air coming from his nose thrills, tearing the cold air apart, while his wings moved very slowly, making a noise like when you tear a cellophane wrap apart. And the only thing she could see was his activation number.

 

She knew that only 64-bit potion can save her castle from burning up, and she knew where to find one...

FC 2.0 is the main sim update that is keeping me hoping for the release soon.. no other sim has me waiting in anticipation like FC 2.0 update..

 

I need it, as my personal life needs the escape and fun I get from the combination of DCS:BS with LO:FC.

 

It's early 2010, and hope we are only hours away from the update being made available..

 

I need the escape..

To ED:

Two things I was thinking of just to put on the ToDo list for one day:

-Binoculars

-NVGs for the A-10A, no need for A-10C I think but A-10A pilots used to watch around with NVGs at night and Binocs at daytime to spot targets.

NVGs would give some awesome night abilities to the A-10A as it is now pretty pointless once the AGM Ds are away. Just a thaught in case the idea didn't come up by now :)

For a Constructive and Substantive Solution to the issue, in keeping with the Weekly DIY Substance my replies seem to be taking, herewith Sage advice from Yours Truly a Wee Good While ago.......

 

 

Fire up a Night Mission, press Fly.................

 

 

Then run like Fook to the Kitchen, grab a pair of Scissors and the 2L bottle of Sprite from the Fridge..........

 

 

Turf the contents of the Sprite down the sink, alternatively down your Gullet and cut the Bottle in half - lengthways...........

 

 

Now sprint like there are ten Banshees nibblin' at your six and raid the girlfriends Knicker-draw for her second-best G-String and tie it to the half bottle - get your A$$ back in the Cockpit pronto!

 

 

Now - Strap the bottle around your head and Walaaaaa.........you have the Green NVG Tinge - adds a lot to the immersion.

 

 

 

 

Yes yes - not much, but in the absence of a patch it's the next-best thing
