I think I saw something about it, but I need to confirm.

Not sure if it drags politics into it in any way - after all, it's just another ground attack campaign. Only difference is this time it really happened, instead of most of the NATO vs. Russia stuff we usually see.

Am I just missing the point or there's really no way it can be bad?

Is that true ED prepares campaign for Su-25 based on real conflict in Abkhazia that took place 08-12.08.2008?

There is a hypothetical future Russia-Georgia conflict being simulated in one of the Su-25 campaigns in FC2 (and many of the single missions). It is not a recreation of the 2008 conflict, but inspired by and loosely based on those events.

any comments ED? atleast a hint?
Getting close.

Can someone in the know confirm or deny the existence of a "Flags Log" that writes a change in the condition of a flag to a readable text log for Black Shark Compatibility patch or Flaming Cliffs 2?
I'll have to ask the programmers. As a backwards walk-about, you could potentially keep track of this by adding a known logged event, such as an explosion of a static object, to your flags.

I am well aware of using that as a workaround, however it is useless for repeatable flags. Mostly with "Front Condition" based flags.

The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.

Alot of happiness and potential rides on this feature.

There is no flags log at this time. But you can add "text out" or "sound out" action to your every "set flag" or "clear flag"

While demolition is good (CRASH! BOOM! BANG! © Roxette) :D but you might want to start with simple text messages, at least they will not affect your debriefing log )))

The Predator is in DCS. It doesn't really do anything though.

Brilliant!

If it's in DCS it's going to be in 2.0 I think. it's the only thing that makes sense.

Aero

DCS Wishlist: 1) FIX THE DAMN RIVERS!!! 2) Spherical or cylindrical panorama view projection. 3) Enhanced input options (action upon button release, etc). 4) Aircraft flight parameter dump upon exit (stick posn, attitude, rates, accel, control volume, control-surface positions, SAS bias, etc). 5) ADS-33 maneuver courses as static objects. 6) Exposed API or exports of trim position and stick force for custom controllers. 7) Select auto multiple audio devices

ED already refuted that same press release about a month or two ago in this very thread. They're sticking to the noncommital "early 2010". :(

Probably we will see more release dates from gamepressure for example, 19 and 26 march.

I should add <ironic> markup in my previous post.

it doesn't mean anything, because they released the screenshots for the anniversary of the plane, not to say that they are working on the su25 model.

"early 2010" could mean up till June the 29th. June the 30th could be classed as "mid 2010" then anything after that, "late 2010". unless FC 2.0 hasnt launched by then in which case, "mid 2010" could be pushed back till the day before new years eve.

Don't matter how long development takes. It's impossible to make bug free product like complex simulation.
