Hi, All.... With the "Closure" of Flaming Cliffs and F-C-2.0 on the horizon, how as consumers how do you feel about Flaming Cliffs 2.0???

FC2.0 will present a great training platform leading up to future DCS addons i recon. Thus i will certainly buy it and fly. Simply said, its a must have.

I hope for the best for all. Over all I truly would like 2 C F-C-2.0 with out bias.

 

1. In F-C 1.0---Migs/Su's had almost "Real time" AWAX data link. Where in NATO aircraft pilots had 2 wait 7 seconds for the AWAX girl to say where the bandit was, and in flowing combat "Real time" data about your bandit will giver you total advantage.

 

2. No more warping screen shots, or LUA hacks?

 

3. For some of us this game is "Me" time to just have fun and get away from lifes every day hustle/bustle. Also make new friends around the world and feel proud that we all share some things in common.

 

4. 2.0.....I cant wait. I have seen many many talented pilots and I have learned tons about Jet combat, I would not be who I am with out all of you guys and your collective knowledge...thanks :)

I’ve learned how to become a better pilot with Russian aircraft and can’t wait for the real deal.

Flaming Cliffs 1.0x1.12 was a fix and introduction to air combat.

FC 2.0 will be all about radar managing and SA with instruments and pure guts, no house made gimmicks. It will be fun

Well, Remember that F-C...Is just a simulation. With all of our collective knowledge we all formed many opinions about all the air-craft-weapons-radar-ect...ect... With the "New" F-C- 2.0 perhaps all that was "Left out" of the air-craft Mig-Su/F-15..ect..ect will be implemented or refined as best as it can be. Such will be proven when the game is in our hands....cant wait ;)

No, that would be DCS. You aren't getting DCS level detail in FC2. Sorry, but I have to lower expectations here. Things have been done to increase realism as much as possible, but with constraints. For some people, these changes will be radical. For some, it'll be more of the same with some interesting changes - mainly the battlefield will likely be deadlier in a lot of cases.

My Personal Wishlist consists Solely of the Introduction of some Semblance of 'Intelligent' SAM Engagement Parameters. The Propensity of SAM's to Engage from RMAX each and every time really Knobbles the Systems.....A Real Pity.
