Pilotasso Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Through using a mod loader. Most likely something similar to how people used Nevada terrain in LockOn. Nevada terrain will come integrated within DCS:warthog with a terrain swicher. Me thinks there should be no need to put the manchuria in a LOMAN pakage but to do that, eventualy in the swichers files instead of the terrain itelf. .
Nate--IRL-- Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 I think ED should aim for something like e a Default DCS Mod folder, that can be further separated into skins - models - terrains - etc. Just drop the mod in the correct folder, the sim should scan the mods folder on start up and it will be selectable in game. No messing with Lua files etc., and the mod format should be self-contained, just like the Miz format. Chizzy101 Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Really nice comparison between your textures and the photos. Great to hear you are considering the mud movers with the low altitude textures.
