yeah... well not much i can do really... im puzzled by this... but the frequency of it all is whats disturbing...

 

perhaps ED can clarify if they are aware/working on solving this?

Yes I and many others are having the same Issue sometimes in Multiplayer..Lock on Target/Ecm = CTD so far I have not noticed it in single player( I Created a mission with 35+planes and few Sams all in a small area and tried to replicate the problem but I just got fps drops the game did not crash)...This is the the one and only thing that effects my online experience...A Week back I tried locking up a target my game crashed then a person who was on ts with me locked up the exact same target 5 min later and his game crashed too both of us are running Vista and flying Su-33.Is anyone with Windows 7 also having this problem just curious :) Thx.

yes, but thats not really a solution is it? if it even has any effect that is... but i will try next time... however, sounds to me like the problem is related to MP pilot association in game... i reckon the frequency of my crashes just now could have been related to the fact that i tried to lock up the same pilot flying on our server, thus resulting in a crash...

 

could this be player name related, as in mabe when player's name contains strange characters or something?

I've set the units-option on "imperial", but in the missioneditor i have metric units.

 

Same with me. I really need imperial units in order to properly build missions. Also, turning subtitles OFF doesn't work...always present.

FC2 Display Bugg

 

Hello,

 

Let me firs present my hardware configuration:

Mother board: ASUSTEK - P5Q3 Socket 775

OS: Windows 7 64Bits Home Premium

RAM: 8Go

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q9550 @ 2.83Ghz

Graphics card:NVIDIA 8800 GTS

 

I installed this morning Lock on 1.01. Then i installed Lock On Flaming Cliffs 2 (i downloaded the soft from lockon.co.uk website).

When the game starts, there is the first screen (Lock On FC2 Screen). The problem is related to the OPTION screen. When i go inside, if i click on the OK Button, the ERROR (see the picture) appears

I do not know why i experienced such a bugg. Have you got any clue??

sorry, thats pretty weired....asking for help and typing these hieroglyphs??? that seems not pretty much interested in recieving any help. The images are crap, since one can´t recognize anythings. I found the solution: it was a problem of installation folder. Changing to a new one resolve the issue.

It would seem that the EOS gives a radar warning when locking a target over 25km, without radar on.

Surely a bug.

Can't see this one anywhere else; I've noticed that you can't always re-arm or re-fuel when parked up at airbases -on the hardstanding area or anywhere.

 

Not sure if this is peculiar to any one AB or not.

 

Have noticed this in DCS BS also.

Archer, specifics would be needed if there's to be any hope of identifying the particulars of a problem - at the very least it would be needed to have tracks and such where it has happened to see if other causes can be eliminated.

Thats correct!! Cant believe this was missed.... EOS as it is now seems quite useless really.... whats the point of having it if you still alert the enemy all the time anyway?... something got broke from FC1 thats for sure...

 

It strange because u get a clear IR signal on scope, but as u lock him he gets a clear lock warning all the time, unless u get to around 20km... which is almost visual range already anyhow... this is quite silly...

 

Is ED aware of this bug?

for me it's seems a bug ? in multi when you are in game and press esc the score window appear also i have assigned the "S" key to the score window but nothing happens when i press S

I can't assign the radar etc. to the F-15. Also, weaponmodes 2-5 can't be assigned either.

This is only for the F-15. All other aircraft is fine.

 

At first I tought it was the TrackIRfix I installed that caused it (using freetrack, please fix this ED?). Reverted back but the problem was still there. I recall it worked in the beginning, but I'm not sure...

 

Any one else reported this?

Delete Keyboard.lua in X:\LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2\Config\Input\Aircrafts\f-15c\keyboard

 

and restart.

 

You will lose any customisations you have made, but it should fix your problem.

Edit:- I suspect you copied your A-10 profile over your F-15 profile some how.
