Yep like all badly maintained Martin Baker ejection seats, one has to pull the handle 3 times to make it work, by which time its too late :doh:

Actually its an ACES 2 seat and I think we are required to push e three times so we don't accidentally eject during flight...........

I wouldn´t do that. I did that one time back in LOMAC (same keycombo)...and what shall I say, it shot me out a few times while beeing in Dogfight as I hit the wrong combo...nice surprise...instead of firing a weapon...ejecting myself..:D:doh:

I'm sorry if this has been asked before but will we be able to buy a physical copy of DCS: A-10C from your website once it's released? My internet is seriously crappy so a downloadable version won't be an option. :(

I know, this is not an arcade bullsh.., its a real simulator.. but..

 

I ve' got the Black Shark.. love it! But hate the setup menu:D:D:D

 

Im' sure, i have some option, what i dont' know what it is, or why must use it, or just don't understand:D:D (course.. my english is..lol) but the simulator working;), i can do any mission, online fight, campings..i can learn, and memorizing all controlls...

 

Ok, so, i just want to setup all option myself.. if available, give us some default setup, but let us change ALL options!

Example.. what is under HOTAS setup, by default, i can't change it.. but i will;) as i cant change the AXIS's

Track IR is already working...by using 32Bit Version of the game. You should use this, next time...helps a lot.

Yes, you can use TrackIR on Windows 64 and DCS: A-10C as long as you use the DCS A-10C_x86 32bit client.

 

There is also an involved workaround for using the 64bit client, but personally I'm waiting for NaturalPoint to get off their butts and make a 64bit driver already.

Yes, but make sure that you installed the 32bit Version of the game. This is a little checkbox which you need to mark while Installation process. Then you get 4 icons. 2 icons for 32 bit Version (Iconname: DCS A-10C_x86) and 2 icons for the 64 Bit version (Iconname: DCS A-10C). You need to run the 32 Bit Version to use Track IR.

When you press the ADD button and the "Add Assignment Panel" appears, just press the button you want on the joystick and it will be automatically selected. You just need to make sure that before pressing the ADD button, you click in table cell corresponding to the controller you want to use. You can't for example click in the Keyboard column next to the control you want, press ADD, and then assign a joystick button. Hopefully that's obvious, but...

 

Also, on the main controls page, if you press a button or key and it's assigned to something, it will jump to that row. So it's very easy to check what your current settings do.

Also, as i write it, i have the Black Shark, and it have a same menu..

Sometimes i'm in trouble, when i try to setup game/simulation settings.. So in quick action, the game use the "game" settings, and in camping mode the simulation settings..

So i have a SaitekX52 Pro joy. Example in Black Shark: in the left throttle pad have a precision slide button, what in "game mode" automaticaly added as collective up/down by default, in simulation mode is the zoom:doh:

 

Now sometimes, or some setups the Add Assignment won't work..i push the button, and nothing happend, and i can drop down the add button menu, but there is a button1-button99 choice:D:D

 

By the way, i won't cry:D:D but more understandeable for me, if here i become asnwer's to my questions, from a hardcore gamesr's;)

Ramp Starts - Comms

 

I noticed whith the new A-10C Warthog sim that with the "ramp starts", there is no "Permission To Take Off" in the comms menu. In all of your past sims, Lock-on, Lock-on Flaming Cliffs, Black Shark and Lock-on 2, all had this in the comms menu. For the sake of consistancy, will this be added before the final edition?

ATC Comms are work in progress.

Currently, with most airfields, you can request startup, taxi and takeoff. Sometimes it crashes and sometimes it doesn't work, but sometimes.... warm fuzzy!
