ED Team Chizh Posted November 3, 2011 ED Team Posted November 3, 2011 FYI In the BS2 presented a possibility to save screenshots in PNG format. Replace JPG to PNG extention in the graphics.cfg string. Единственный урок, который можно извлечь из истории, состоит в том, что люди не извлекают из истории никаких уроков. (С) Джордж Бернард Шоу
Moa Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 FYI In the BS2 presented a possibility to save screenshots in PNG format. Replace JPG to PNG extention in the graphics.cfg string. Thanks for letting us know Chizh. As you well know, PNG can be much better than JPG for preserving image quality (at the expense of space, but who cares, hard drives are cheap).

Mustang Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Nice screenes ...That E-3 looks like it has a short body..is it me or an optical illusion? Perspective i think, narrow and wide camera angle zooms :)
joey45 Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Is the E-3 only for the Fronteirs?? The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. speckfire Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Sorry no Hijack intended, just size comparison between old E-3 in DCS-A10C and new E-3 in BS2. I just got curious after I saw the screenshots in the posts above. DCS-A10C BS-2 (Same size as KC-135) Speed is life !!!
jctrnacty Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 E-3 Length: 152 ft 11 in (46.61 m) kc-135 length 135 ft (41,53 m) [sigpic][/sigpic] MB MSI x570 Prestige Creation, RYzen 9 3900X, 32 Gb Ram 3333MHz, cooler Dark rock PRO 4, eVGA 1080Ti, 32 inch BenQ 32011pt, saitek X52Pro, HP Reverb, win 10 64bit

aaron886 Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 He likes to "hack" the game and then tease people with it. ;)
159th_Falcon Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 Sorry no Hijack intended, just size comparison between old E-3 in DCS-A10C and new E-3 in BS2. I just got curious after I saw the screenshots in the posts above. Sharp eye there Speck, and yes in BS2 they have the same length. Wonder why. (maybe different version of E-3 then previous?) Some other things that are different between A10C and BS2 No Antenna's on wingtips Shape's of wings especially around the fuselage attachment area and wingtips width of elevators is almost double in A10C compared to BS2 In BS2 there are bulges behind the cockpit windows, maybe to house avionics? More antenna's on top of fuselage in BS2 Location of engines on the wings seems different in BS2 ~S~ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] The keeper of all mathematical knowledge and the oracle of flight modeling.:)
BlueRidgeDx Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 The new E-3 is beautiful, but wrong. The E-3 is longer, has a larger diameter fuselage, and has completely different wings than the KC-135. The E-3 is based on the 707-320 airframe, while the KC-135 is based on the original Boeing 367-80 prototype. They're very different animals.
