When you're in the bathroom using the urinal and when you notice the flush lever is stuck towards you, you immediately think that the external lights must be configured according to the panel !

When you start up Arma OA instead just beacuse your heli flight skills from BS are well appreciated there for a good insertion and on time extraction with maximum safety.

When you are driving down the highway, and keep thinking how sick it would be if an A-10C came flying 10 feet above your car, then pulled up into the vertical right after!

When you fantasize about secondary explosions seen over your horizontal stabs (instead of Megan Fox) while pleasing your wife.

It's a good thing that this is Early Access and we've all volunteered to help test and enhance this work in progress... despite the frustrations inherent in the task with even the simplest of software... otherwise people might not understand that this incredibly complex unfinished module is unfinished. /light-hearted sarcasm

1. When you keep showing up late at work every day for about 4 minutes because you had to wait for your car to finish alignment

2. When you mount your warthog stick on your gear shifter every day before you go to work.

3. When you post in the avionics section of the forum inquiring whether it is a known issue that the HUD in your car only functions when you close your eyes even though you did install beta 4.

4. When you go out into town in the weekend for a beer, just before you enter the bar you call out One, fencing in, and then once in the bar ask the bartender for permission to precontact.

5. When you after finishing said beer, walk up to a girl and say Authenticate Romeo Alpha, then when she give you the WTF look you call in security because there is unauthorized personel on your frequency.

6. When on the same night it start to get late and you are being annoyed by some desperate ugly chick you call out: One is defensive, then kneel down on the floor, light up a box of matches and start throwing them around in pairs. Then you stand up again and if she is still there, you call out: One, Ejecting, and then you run away with a pastic bag with two strings attached on either side above your head.

Embarassing it is but for sure it is effective :D I tried it tonight (yep I am crazy) but I only had a lighter and no plastic bag. Still once I got up after my flare attempt there was no sign of the pursuer and I was cleared to engage any targets of opportunity. My RWR was going crazy and I learned to respect the R27. After some close formation flying I decided to knock it off and got a 9-line briefing in return. Now I am invited for diner tomorrow. I didnt even tell her I fly dual throttle. Its a crazy world I tell you, a crazy world. :helpsmilie:

Everytime a slow or bad driver is ahead of you you make GAU 8 sounds and imagine the car exploding.

You urinate in 2 second burst, saying guns, guns, guns.

Or you can't urinate untill the guy next to you says "cleared hot" 'And that can get awkward'

When you go to bed you tell your wife play time is 5 minutes.

You get cleared hot but then bingo out with a hung store.

..you have A-10 C pictures as a wallpaper in all of your computers.

...you buy all books about A-10.

.....you are making plastic kits of A-10 C from Revell

.....you are hurrying home to play A-10 C.

When your trying to judge if there is any fps drop in a traffic jam.

'Did real life just lag?'

LMAO@above and of course, when you start playing with your stick at night and ending up waking your wife as a result of a crash to desktop or actually a bumper contact into her after a "NO FOOLING AROUND" and "ADRIAAAAN!!!"

AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

...you've read everything about DCS A-10C here, go over to simHQ, read everything there, google for other DCS A-10C forums, start posting over at the BS and FC forums although u dont play those games and get on their nerves

...you consider buying a Hotas Warthog although you have a X52 pro that works perfectly with A-10C

...you join the DCS A-10C facebook group and read every post there

...you read the beta4 manual the second time and can't wait for the beta 5 manual to search for changes

...you try and have parallel installations of beta 1, 2, 3 and 4 because you feel nostalgic about each version so far

...you search IMDB by keywords "warthog", "thunderbolt, "jet fighter", "CAS", and many more

...you browse the US Air Force recruitment offices' web sites to see how you'd become an A-10 pilot if you were still young and didn't have your boring office job and family

...you know how to reset and/or re-init the CIDU, CADC and HARS in the CDU and even needed to do so while in a mission

...you don't understand how anyone doesn't know what the SYS/LRUTEST page is really good for

...you're playing selfmade 6h transfer missions with travel pods and external tanks mounted

...you wish you could make jokes in this thread about YOUR wife wanting sex and you rather playing A-10C, while you play A-10C and your wife doesnt want sex

okay enough for know, have to check youtube if there's a new A-10C video online while i was writing this...
