Meh, what are your system specs Nickhawk??

 

My system is AMD Phenom II x4 965, ATI 5770, 8GB Ram. Took me about 5 minutes on white screen on first start to compile the files... but the loading times of the missions are now very quick! and tabbing out to windows and back with fullscreen works now... :)

I must have done something wrong but my Warthog (received today :D) has lost is default profile while updating from B3 to B4.

 

Maybe I should dl and install the full B4 ? Anyone else has the issue ?

Do you mean your "HOTAS Warthog" has lost its default profile? That's not possible. If you're not running TARGET to set the stick up from DCS (and you really shouldn't be) then the "default profile" is 100% contained within DCS.

 

So the patched DCS may well have reverted some changes you'd made but the fix will lie in tweaking DCS, not the TM Warthog.

Heh. the 'big white screen' is putting a load on more cores than the sim itself does. :D

Why is the load spread across 4 cores like a sine wave (was even better about 2 seconds before I took the screenshot...)

Yes ,very interesting, the patch only shows up while I am using IE and am logged out.

Confirmed! The TrackIR 5.1 beta 2is now working with Warthog Beta 4 using the 64 bit loader!!! :D

I just did a quick test to compare framerates beta3 vs beta4:

Mission Free flight - black sea - ramp start: F1 view beta3 36 FPS, beta 4 37 FPS

Mission Free flight - black sea - ramp start: F2 view beta3 37 FPS, beta 4 52 FPS

Mission Free flight - black sea - ramp start: F11 view beta3 37 FPS, beta 4 64 FPS

anyone else have trouble getting trackir to recognize device after downloading new trackir beta? I downloaded the new TR beta, uninstalled old TR, installed new TR and now TR doesn't recognise device. TR screen is up but no IR detected. wazup!

My track ir had the same prob. Went to device manager and had it find automatically for natural point. Works fine now.

My TM Warthog HOTAS control settings are cleared out in the control profile in game. I have to manually reset everything. I have not played with TARGET at all. Is there a quick way to restore this to defaults instead of trying to reconfig all buttons?
