Here are a few sites I order from all the time when it comes to computer components:

http://www.onhop.ca/

http://www.tigerdirect.ca/

http://www.newegg.ca/

http://www.extremegamingdevices.com/

I've had personal experiance buying from all of them and had no issues at all.

So Canada's not all bad.... ;)

Although I can't argue some things are hard to find and our prices suck compared to our US counter-parts. Even with the CAD on par with the USD. :(

Edit: Sorry for going OT.

You guys wait to be on Brazil with local salary, your gonna learn a entire new spectrum of " Sucking".

hey Mower, What I meant is, Find someone who has it, Fly it, test it. then deside. If you never had your hands on one, how can you truly judge it>That's all I am saying. Cheers:thumbup:

Hummm ?

0.001%? Thats a dream for any industry.

heck 2% of failure is already hard to attain as the mumber goes out. (usually calculated % of failure per million)

if you takes 6 sigma nirvana is barely inferior to 1% and first step is 6%.

So 2 % aint dissing TM.

Well i know i m a rat lab :D for TM, but i couldn t resist the qtty inicial good reports.

Actually, the 6 Sigma attainable goal, which I've seen achieved, is a defect rate of 3.4 per million opportunities. This amounts to 0.00034% defect rate, or 99.99966% defect free. Very far from 1%, or 2%. 3.4 defective parts per million isn't the industry norm, and I wasn't intending to apply 6 Sigma to TM, but 0.001% defects is a very realistic number for a new product launch. 1 or 2 percent is an extremely high number, in any industry, usually necessitating a recall. But again, I don't know TM's sales v. service figures and I doubt (hope?) that they're not that high.

(Keep in mind that 1% is 10,000 failures per million sold, 2%, 20,000! Unheard of!)

well your right my memory failed me on the number 2% is beetween 1 and 2 sigmas. 1% is more like it. But anyway how many industries have 3sigmas level of quality, not much.

Ok let me refrase.

So far all Intel mobos have bricked throttles, or all throtlles have bricked on intel system. I ve posted this doing some reshearch here and on simHQ not on a knee jerk.

So yes if you got intel your a potential bricker.

You mean i can t blame Intel for TM having a dump on the quality. Surely not and i m not.

People have to start courses of text compreension or stop doing out of the blues assumptions.

I never did blame intel, i just wondered what intel has that AMD hasen t so it bricks warthog.

But the fault is TM entirely.

Unless there s an international complot agaisnt TM, and while the throttle are shipped some of the WT part is switched so the throttle brick on Intel base only.

Come on!!!

And actually its 75% of the planet running intel :smilewink: So say google.

As i sayd on another thread (and i won t post all informations in all threads), the only mobo that haven t bricked a WT are the AMD ones.

Stop being lazy and criticize withput doing some reshearch.

We got intel bricking, giga bricking, EVA bricking ASUS bricking etc, as long it is an intel boards a warthog are bricking on them.

So yes actually anyone that have a warthog and is working on intel base is in danger. Until you show some AMD brick thats a fact.

Now it would be interesting to see SN bricks.

Facts don t care about brand, market leaedership, beauty of design or other sentimental nonsense.

Want to disprove ? bring some AMD system that had a warthog bricking or bring me another factor that rule out this intel related problem, i got intel brand new PC and i am in the same boat.

exactly, what is your problem sport??

You must check the logic. If 99% of pc's are Intel, and, the throttles are bricking, then Intel is the problem!

So simple even a caveman could figure it out. :-)

If Intel controllers were "bricking" my G510, TM MFD's, G940 and the other half dozen USB devices in addition to the TM WH then I would say his point is valid. Problem with that arguement is that other programable gamepads, joysticks and keyboards aren't failing....

Fair enough :D (these help though :smilewink: )

just a quick question...(yes I've searched, well sort of)

does the packaging carry the USB symbol (indicating compliancy has been tested)?

The online manual doesn't give much away at all, only the CE symbol and another two arrow symbol (like the old Tao zen Yin/ Yang balance symbol)

there is a couple sticker type tags on the usb cord for each unit, stating that they have been tested to comply with FCC standards.

is it possible you could post up a shot (front and back) of the tag?

a USB compliance tag/ packaging label says quite clearly USB.
