Will Nellis have a come back or is it classified info (i mean no Nellis anymore) ? Any timetable beyond "when its ready" for the BS comes to meet A10 quality ? (I know i ask a lot too :) ) I don t even know why i m asking all that, i have too much in my hands now. F18hornet fighting for a falcon ???!!! Afaik you don t put F16 on a CVN...thats why i think it will be f18. Also there s a lot of F18 around the world, and USA is crazy about selling more (Brazil). And Since the incendiary clown we had as president has been switched by a south American margareth tatcher... it may well be the final choice, so i would be happy, although i would prefer some Warsaw side plane like Su 33,35. French Rafale is a Rafale of problems and french jokes for a country like Brazil, and Grippen N is a big incognita. I'll email some Canadian F-18 manuals to ED, problem solved (Men In Black knocking at my door :) ) I've read that ED asked for permission for A-10C info to be used in the public sim. Maybe something similar could still happen with the 18. Don't be a buzz kill :D ED have announced (think it is the FAQ) that they plan to still release the Nellis terrain in the near future. Just didn't want it to hold up the release.

Unless you don t get that there will be no 2 seater and that there others version of f18 hint hint, this is still a contender. And as a side note there s a lot of retrofitting going on so hence can come the earlyer versions informations. Another hint could be the call to a in all splendor nimits carrier info/photos etc. I don t really see why asking such if you won t operate from it. And actually what other fitting plane you know operating from a carrier and being single seater. As for the manuals there so many foreign countries having acquired the non E version, thats it seems outdated information. USa is selling E/F to Brazil, its on the short list. So a A/C/D would be very viable. Of course as the A10 and BS, ED will have to ask permission. Incredible...They would need a fair bit of AI for many of the jobs though given... "The first Death Star is depicted in various sources of having a crew of 265,675, as well as 52,276 gunners, 607,360 troops, 30,984 stormtroopers, 42,782 ship support staff, and 180,216 pilots and support crew." - Can you imagine if each of those crew members had the average intelligence of a DCS: BS Wingman? Still, the chance to say "fire aff when readeh" prior to blowing up a planet would top anything the hog can do.. Talk about highjacking its own thread...:D @Conure: As in any public department, there s alot of loitering, you can reduce it to 2/3 it will still work fine. We dont need the troopers, why send troopers to storm rubbles ? The pilots and support crew can be a problem especially if there s supply management in a DC. Are you somehow working for them ? Following your logic one could say why did they modeled a Hi-Fi F15E if it's only to be operated by AIs ? From what I know the only limit for ED is putting their hands on accurate infos. Who would have thought that after LOMAC and FC1 the first DCS would actually be a...chopper ? For screenshot purposes ? Glowing Amraam demanding one for movie making purpose ? To reward some very good 3d artist ? Too flare your eyes and shaff your brain ? To test new kind of 3D modelling tech that will appear on the compat patch ? Well ... Carrier ops FTW Enought crop groove makers...Lets do some sardine fishing Lets do some skillfull landing...hitting a deck on not do good weather with some crosswind is always a challenge. What i wonder is if DCS would be able to do some nice boat rocking due to sea storm, But even without such landing only is a blast.
