104th_Cobra Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 The 1st one was F-15 Strike Eagle II. I played it until addiction on a cousin 286 with an awesome 6 MHz processor! I had a lot of fun with other sims like DID EF2000 V2.0, F-22 ADF, F-22 TAW. I played Falcon 4.0 but enjoyed more the northern dark environment on Jane's F/A-18. I played FS2000 for some hours because of IFR flight training. 104th Cobra [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

dumberdog Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 My first flightsim experience was with F15 Strike Eagle II from Microprose, my PC being a Schneider Euro SX 386 with MsDos OS. Loved that game, played it all night long on those summer days when in vacation....Yeaaaah!! Great memories. I bet most USAF eagle pilots of my age started like this. LOL

Togg Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 (edited) The first one :D And I still have the box, the CD and the manual. I bought also a 3dfx voodoo 2 12 Mb, the legendary graphic card (Glide, the beginning of SLI...), a beast, that was the best at this time to get high performance. The game was so smooth with it.
