Over 28k hits.... Can we make this a sticky?

I agree with this. Make this thread a sticky. I can't believe DCS hasn't yet put out a printed manual. This thread shows that there are many people that want one and that would buy one.

Kinda sucks considering the old days when Falcon came out.. it came with a printed manual.. now you have to spend almost what you paid for the game to get the manual as well.. :-/

Here's a manual for $30. It's advertised as bound and black and white. Has anyone ordered a copy of this?

Yes it seems to be good, 5 stars rated, just black and white printed apparently even if the preview is showing colored pics... 671 pages... The good one I think:thumbup:

Those days are long gone .... when you buy a game with a map , a book , and it worked also !!!

Now , we pay to beta test a game ..... and get shafted through paying for additions like flight manuals ..... which arnt even available through ED !!!

Someones making money here !!!

I bought the LULU manual ..... well done , and a pleasure to have .

And , I feel at this stage , anyone who has bought a DCS product , should get Nevada for free considering the amount of beta testing we are doing ? ..... I for one wont pay for it .............. ever !!!

You didn´t read the very thread you are posting in, did you? ;) Many of us, including me, have ordered there and are very, very happy with it. Nice quality, and good bang for the buck.

To be fair, while Falcon 4.0 came with all those goodies, it was everything but usable. Took a whole bunch of patches before it actually became the sim that was advertised on the backside of the box.

Yes...I should've gone through the whole thing. I took the easy out. Thanks for the input though!

With a thread like this approaching 26 pages, you'd think DCS would take advantage of this to offer something.

Interestingly, they did with the original Black Shark - I purchased it myself.

Perhaps sales were not good enough, who knows.

I voted, but where's the point now that the Lulu-version is available? The cards are on the table, so to say.

Good point, though a kick up the arse might stir a bit of competition. As you said "the cards are on the table" :music_whistling:

Well, I like that the lulu version is hardcover, but there's no way I'm spending $185 US on it.

I got the Black Shark spiral-bound manual for what, $50? I'll buy from the guy who can make it in bulk to make it cheaper.

Still waiting for this, ED!

EDIT: wait, what? That IS from ED? $185? Are you for real?

I decided for the black/white Lulu version and am more than happy with it.

You don't need to put about 200 in there when the B/W goes for 30 (?) and is perfectly sufficient. All images are good to discern, which is what counts for me.

I ordered mine also there and after a longtime shipping period I am quite happy with it now!

Ordered my Lulu copy last weekend. Dispatched on Monday and received the next day. Not bad considering I paid the cheapest mailing option.

Living in the UK I was expecting this to arrive in a week or so, so I'm very happy with the service.

Thanks!

Does someone who ordered the lulu black and white version fancy uploading some pics to should the quality and how its bound? I'm tempted to pick one up myself.
