I think we should give them a Christmas present. From now, noone mentions Dynamic Campaign, Upcoming Fighter possibilities, Nevada...

In exchange, they give US all of those things for Christmas.

Only joking.

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

Hello, I don't know relevant this is to people outside the UK but on the 21st of December DCS: Black Shark will be £8.68 from here: http://www.direct2drive.co.uk

Loving A-10C, so I'm thinking of picking this up too. What do you guys think, worth getting? (probably a silly question)

Not sure how that would work out with exchange rates but that is the old version and you would still have to buy the upgrade as opposed to just buying BS2 by itself.

A-10C was just on sale a week ago. It's already $20 less than it was a year ago. Don't be cheap. :)

Crap I missed that sale...sheesh I gotta be cheap for now, i'm low on funds after the purchase of X-Plane 10, Black Shark 2 and some parts upgrade for my computer and a new Xbox 360. :music_whistling:

Come on ED how about a discount for A-10C just like you did with Black Shark 2 for owners of Black Shark or Flaming Cliffs 2. :)

What.... you have not bought it yet? Shame on you :no_sad:

I payed $45.00 for DCSA10 and feel its a worthy purchase.Sims IMO are worth even more since they are hobbies rather than video games. For example I purchased the Witcher2 and played it once thru for 20 or so hours.I will most likely never play it again even though its a superb game. But sims on the other hand to me are more yrs long purchases.

Blunt, short, concise and to the point! What is between the lines is the magic.

But sims on the other hand to me are more yrs long purchases.

True, yet again. Another analogy would be, yap you never forget how to shoot in quake 3 (precision aside) but take a long leave from flight sim and you are toast on nearly all aspects of it.

I bought A-10 on a whim during the last steam sale for £14.99. I've always had a soft spot for the A-10 so thought what the heck. One Thrustmaster Warthog, combat rudder pedals, trackir, "modifications" to my computer desk and several hundred £'s later, and it's been worth every penny and I'm loving every second.

I built a new rig primarily for BF3 but for every hour I play Battlefield 3 or anything else I'm putting in 10 for DCS.

I was tempted today to buy a printer and a shed load of cartridges just to print the manual out.

ED please release a manual and take my money!

ps oh and please implement jiggle in the options menu too :P

I wanted to give a big THANK YOU to ED, cheers !

I just received an email notifying me of the current deal for A-10C, so I purchased it today. :pilotfly:

Should have waited for BS2 upgrade, nice discount :music_whistling:
