dikkeduif Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like that, but I can retract my landing gear while I'm on the ground, which makes the plane fall to the ground. No way of getting the gear back down of course :) Is this a bug or a 'feature' of the real plane?
Jona33 Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like that, but I can retract my landing gear while I'm on the ground, which makes the plane fall to the ground. No way of getting the gear back down of course :) Is this a bug or a 'feature' of the real plane? Just to confirm this is the Su-25. (Not doubting you it's just 5 minutes ago I read the P-51 has no weight on wheels.) If it is the -25 then probably bug. Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing
71st_Mastiff Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Known bug, will be fixed. this has been a bug since FC1? " any failure you meet, is never a defeat; merely a set up for a greater come back, " W Forbes "Success is not final, failure is not fatal, it is the courage to continue that counts," Winston Churchill " He who never changes his mind, never changes anything," MSI z690 MPG DDR4 || i9-14900k|| ddr4-128gb PC3200 || MSI RTX 4080S|Game max 1300w|Win11| |turtle beach elite pro 5.1|| ViRpiL,T50cm2||MFG Crosswinds|| VT50CM-plus rotor Throttle || G10 RGB EVGA Keyboard/MouseLogitech || PiMax Crystal VR || 32 Asus||
docfu Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Hell.. I say leave it that way, no point in making the plane idiot proof.
IJammer Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 LOL... yup, I did that, hit the 'G' key by mistake while on the runway, she promptly sat down on the tarmac and would not pop back up of course. Just to see how good the software was I applied full throttle... got up to about 3mph... but not quite enough to rotate LOL IJammer
Soulres Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 I dont think its a bug.I was reading thru the SU25T manual and it said somewhere "when Over-shooting the runway, Retract Landing Gear and begin Engine shut down Procedure" i think your supposed to be able to retract the landing gear because it DOES make sense.

joey45 Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Thought the 25 didn't have a sensor that detected weight on wheels. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.
