Hi all,

 

I've heard about Ricardo's HD cockpit, as well as the 6DOF cockpit for the SU-25T, but have been:

 

a) Unable to confirm whether these mods are compatible with DCS World.

b) Unable to locate where the 6DOF cockpit can be downloaded.

c) Unable to figure out how to install Ricardo's HD cockpit mod - readme says to use 'Modman', is this compatible with DCS World? I'd expect not..?

I installed the Server.lua file but i still cant zoom back at all. Ir tracker works good. Running Eyenifity

Thats an issue caused by double assigned axis for zoom. At least it was for me. Trackir z and axis on TM Hotas.

Yep I found the same thing. I took it off the trackir and left it on my friction wheel on the throttle. :smilewink:

I installed it and its not working, in Multiplayer, Single player it's working?; Only in instant missions, is the 6DOF working.

Can anyone help a pc novice. I would like to upgrade the cockpit visuals in the SU25. I have downloaded the upgrade files but on unzipping there seem to be files for the A10 etc. I only want to improve the SU25, so which files do I have to move into the texture folder to achieve this?

Clear help will be much appreciated.

Hi Mastiff

Yes, got that info from the download site. My question is, do I copy in the entire set of textures, or only the ones relating to the SU25, as there seems to be textures for the A10 included.

This may be the MP mission itself. Try unpacking the MP mission and delete the config\view folder in it and repack the mission.

possible bug?

 

I place the missions into DCS world mods/aircraft/su25t/ missions folder

 

Start the mission through there and the 6DOF works?

Then try it out of that folder and it dont work?

Hmmm, have you disabled UAC (User Access Control in Windows 7)? If not you should start the SIM as Administrator.

and I never run any thing from c:\ partition.

and yea UAC is off. and yes user run admin is been turn on every where

I even have the usser\DCS World; folder share on doesn't help

OK HiJack, I had no idea that I could unzip those missions, doing that and deleting the config views and re saving worked. now your missions are working with 6dof.

Great! We fixed it and you even learned how to unpack and repack mission! Great stuff ;)

 

EDIT: Just remember to zip the missions with normal compression!

Anyone able to get this to work with 3 screens? the FOV limits are worse with 3 screens(5880 x 1080 res) I cannot look down at the sides of the of the cockpit, its's very annoying. I've tried the server.lua file and also tried manually adjusting FOV limits to no avail , they don't seem to do anything.

 

Edit: If i zoom all the way in I can pan a bit lower and see some of the buttons and switches but it is unplayable zoomed in that close.

I'm having trouble getting this to work. I've done everything listed in the download notes; backed up the folder, copied the 5 zip files over the existing ones in DCS World/Bazar/World/Textures, still nothing. Any ideas?

It's the first time I have done this so am I missing something obvious?

 

:doh: SOLVED: Was getting too excited and clicked 'skip' when overwriting the 5 files, both times! :music_whistling:
