rss0900 Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Because of this I will quit my job and never move from my PC. I will never buy another game again as this will consume my life goodbye wife. 1) When is this coming? 2) Is this dynamic so that you could fight an entire war for months until won or lost? (specifically targeted at the single player point of view regarding being dynamic or is it all mission based with x number of units on a map per mission? 3) who is developing this? 4) Other than the sticky above where can we find more info? 1
Nate--IRL-- Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Because of this I will quit my job and never move from my PC. I will never buy another game again as this will consume my life goodbye wife. 1) When is this coming? Open Beta is due in June 2) Is this dynamic so that you could fight an entire war for months until won or lost? (specifically targeted at the single player point of view regarding being dynamic or is it all mission based with x number of units on a map per mission? Map per mission for now - there are ideas about preserving mission state - but just ideas 3) who is developing this? ED 4) Other than the sticky above where can we find more info? yallu Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 Persistent missions with different config each (like supply/rate of it etc.) sounds great. A "situation"/"scenario" - if you will, some tough for the other side, some more equal. Variety is the key. Generic persistent world with the same initial campaign config (like WW2OL) becomes repetitive and boring over time. Hopefully there will be CoC possible if the mission creator so wishes - to allow human battalion COs place objectives for other human Company COs etc. Like CoC'ed RTS.
Salwa Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Also. Is there a list of the units the player will be able to control directly? I'm talking about units we can man the gunner station and shoot. Hope the T55, T72, M60 and AAV-7 are included. 1 Decrease your exam stress by using our latest cert killer N10-005 and best quality 70-462 and pass guide. sobek Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Holy necrophilia. Combined Arms has long been released, mate. Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa! Use punctuation, save lives!
Rongor Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 I wonder if the OP meanwhile misses his wife or if he managed to maintain that excitement...
Sabre-TLA Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Also. Is there a list of the units the player will be able to control directly? I'm talking about units we can man the gunner station and shoot. Hope the T55, T72, M60 and AAV-7 are included. Yes most of the vehicles are driveable and you can use the various weapon systems on some of the vehicles. VincentLaw Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Also. Is there a list of the units the player will be able to control directly? I'm talking about units we can man the gunner station and shoot. Hope the T55, T72, M60 and AAV-7 are included. The T-55, T-72, and AAV-7 are all available for direct control. The M60 is not drivable but you can give it orders from the map view. Only Israel uses the M60 in DCS. The US MBT is the M1A2 Abrams which does have direct control. It is important to note that swimming is not yet implemented, so if you try to swim across a large river or lake with the AAV-7 you will sink. You can wade across small streams though. There is not exactly "gunner station" yet, but you can drive vehicles while controlling the weapons at the same time. Tanks don't currently have an interior view, but all of the important information is displayed in the gunsight view. You can also switch to a driver station by pressing LCtrl+C, which is useful on some vehicles like the Ural Zu-23 where the gunner doesn't have a good view of the road. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

=Mac= Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 That entire movie had some hellatious music tracks. Damn, now I gotta get out my mp3 file and play it until the wife yells at me to stop! But, yeah, Nevyn. Cool lyrics. The Hornet is best at killing things on the ground. Now, if we could just get a GAU-8 in the nose next to the AN/APG-65, a titanium tub around the pilot, and a couple of J-58 engines in the tail...
