In game at regular speed, the explosion causes frame rates to drop from 30+ down to 6 fps!!! (All graphics settings set to Full, plus I have Fraps running, which kills frame rates anyway). I think DCS A-10 definitely does a better job managing the resources during explosions.

The ClOD code is a mess.

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Move your FRAPS install to a fast SSD drive and there is almost no FPS loss on fullscreen capture! Actually moving the FRAPS application had a positive effect on all my SIMs I think. :D

gave up on that sim long time ago.

Still not fixed? I haven't bothered with it since a few patches in, uninstalled and sidelined. Boy I really wish it did play as desired. No disrespect to the dev's on that one and I know the circumstances weren't great...but probably the biggest disappointment to the WWII sim community unfortunately. Not that it will remain one, but expectations I think were VERY high.

We have found it to be very playable....but yes there are bugs that tend to drive you crazy. Yesterday's beta patch and the beta patch last month solved many of the bigger issues....at least for me and my squad-mates. Most of us have played IL-2 since it's original release in early 2000s, and believe that the future will be brighter. (Of course, all of us bought mega machines prior to release just to play the damn thing)...the first release back in 2000s was full of issues and it took them many years to "fix" all of it, then the mod community took it from there and turned in into an absolutely beautiful sim. with UltraPack combined mod package. Cheers!

Ubisoft is the bane of simulation franchises. First LOMAC, then Silent Hunter, then IL-2. They consistently push simulation products out of the door in a completely decrepit state and expect the fanbase to fix everything for them. And their IP rights are still haunting ED.

ha! i just got told to go an kick my own dog and not vent on there forums. the admin just said 2 people have just reported your post. im going to do a favour and delete this for you.

lolz of sorts.

yesterday reported from sukhoi. my retort was that this course of action was lies. lies that the whole gaming industry acts on these principles. and lies that it does not relfect 1c`s intentions lol.

.

this. what does it mean please ? i feel it important enough to post here and not just for flightsimming for all gaming in general apparently . it says to me that these guys build a series and the first one is always screwed up so that you buy the next one. the same happened back in the day, is this really how they are prepared to conduct business with publishers ? i just cant accept that this is how it is. one chap even suggested that they were lucky to even be working on such a project. anyway banned for life. thats customer service and support for you. a ban that was deliberatly engineered imo. no democracy left now. its just not the done thing to stand by your rights after buying a product and with 18 months aftermath your simply not allowed by any standards to complain.

alas, more money for dcs modules.(the competition) \o/

2) release of patches for the troubled project, which means the contents of the command is usually only possible through the advance allocation of money for new development. In fact, correcting the previous project "eaten through" money allocated to the next. There is next - it means there will be no patches for the previous one, bye.

Given the above, the decision to finish the first full release of the past usually means instant death.

Also, all of the above applies to the gaming industry in general and do not necessarily reflect the situation within 1C.

That's funny, every 2nd post on the forum is a complaint, I dont see them not allowing people to complain ;)

As for the rest of your post? What doesnt make sense?

Revenue makes the world go around, if the devs dont have anyway to pay to keep the lights on how would the keep putting out patches. I think now its a race against time. If they dont get things fixed to where they can release revenue generating material they will fold.

At least thats how I took B6's comments, as for your response, it should have been moved not deleted... but that's just MHO.

thanks for your input. i wonder who didnt like me suggesting that opinion fo general gaming was lies. i just wont accept any of it. voting with my wallet is all i have been left with as a customer of 1C. i was deliberatly manipulated into that nonsense that just happened. and why ? because i have a nack of hitting the nail on the head over there about the reality. i never complained about the bugs really, just the deep associations with why things were so inexplicably "Awry". with conclusion of my own, that i guess could only eat away at the very idea of there decisions being the worst ever they could have made comparitivly speaking alongside their intentions.

ithe only thing i have insulted over there was the very fundamental principles at hand in multiple areas. its dirty and low and in exscusable now. that admin nearmiss tellling me to go kick my dog rather than post there is inexplicable in terms of betrayal of the very infraction laws he is obliged to moderate and uphold. granted i did retort with equal measures of offensive material via PM. good luck to him, he wont want to cross my path for he will recieve a true proverbial glasgow kiss of appreciation for sealing my fate there. lol anyway that really is the end of that. may their lack of my money seal their fates. that is what its all about at the end of the day. well for a company as such under a publisher as such. I started out with good intentions i really did. i did loads of modding work, i tried to be a positive part of it. and well ive never been banned from anything at all before. just disgusted. back to the sky blue forum where the air is fresh and breathable and a world of opporutnity awaits. yes thats my home for flightsimming banter.
