In order to have an idea of the community (and just also by curiosity ;) ), I'd like to know what graphic card you (the community) are using for DCS...

And if you want add comments about how the sim perform, feel free...

Choices are:

1) <= 256 VRAM

2) 512 VRAM

3) 768 VRAM

4) 1024 VRAM

5) 1536 VRAM

6) 2048 VRAM

7) 2048+ VRAM

Waiiit, you're too fast for me... ;)

Now you can vote!

Edit: I voted 1024Mb VRAM and I have troubles (low FPS) with high AA and overload of effects, certainly on take-off - landings. Maybe not enough VRAM for high textures settings...

Running 2 cards both 1024mb wish I could afford one with more but they are all overpriced, going to wait for the prices to drop as the new tech gets released :)

Did you have to make some compromises with such a card? (ckpt res setting, AA, Fx's,...)

MSI 4890 OC 1Gb

But not for long imo, Asus GTX 660 DCUII TOP is appealing :-p

And yes i make compromise with AA/MSAA/TSSAA/cockpit...

But i make way more compromise with the CPUs, and that's another story.

My trusty GTX580 1.5gb, with which I run 2 monitors, '3200x1080' @ full AF, and decent AA, and a consistent 30FPS.

Dips to no less than 22FPS on ground, with mirrors enabled, which I consider to be pretty good.

The sim runs quite well on my GTX580 with 3GB. I run 2560x1440 on my main monitor, plus the second monitor which (if I am using it) is running Helios at 1920x1080. Personally, for most anyone, I would advise nothing less than 2GB for a new card purchase.

To bad i couldn't vote on 2 categories. I have an EVGA GTX 570. it's 1.28 GB vram. So I'm in between two of the choices. It run DCS pretty damn well. Even when things get real busy in the sim I'm still in getting rates in the very high 20's. Which i don't mind because its pretty damn smooth. Even at those rates.
